Warning*Playing a 12 string can be dangerous to your heath! Besides the long times spent playing and enjoying the music. It leaves a void in your life for your 6 string. Your 6 string will become dusty and out of tune. The 6 string could get up and leave if it tried! 12 strings are very habit forming and rather time consuming! I couldn't agree more "Hotel Califorina" is a great 12 string song! I do enjoy playing some older Neil Young songs too on my 12 strings.

I have some  Takamines a Taylor and a Martin. These all sound reall good. It's the tone! Some are 6 string, and some are 12 strings. I gotta have several of each! LOL I have 12 guitars in total. I can sure tell the difference in a cheap guitar. The higher priced guitars play and sound much better than then lower priced counterparts! I'm buying all Taylors and Martins from now on! It's just what I like.

gitaardocphil I understand where you are coming from. Im disabled too. I quit after playing 30 years ago. I started again 3 years ago after getting hurt. I started with some cheap guitars. Then I tried a taylor. This was the sound I was looking for. I bought a 414ce. Needless to say I am over whelmed by the sound. I have a couple of takamines I play too. Also i have a cheap epiphone that rocks. To each his owne, is what guitars are to us. I found my sound. Bluegrass, Folk, Country, Soft Rock. Now I need a better 12 string, and I will get a Taylor. Anyone catch that Bluegrass, Folk music from Texas on PBS. It was great! Good luck to all

Does anyone have or know where I can find the chords for this song that Sam Bass did? TY

I have a F310 Takamine and a F385 Takamine. Go and try as many guitars as you can. Dollar for dollar the older MIJ Takamines are one of the best buys on the market. My Taylor is great but cost $$$ more. Let your pocket book guide you!
