thanks for replying.

yes it was the 'far and wide' song i was referring to, sorry for the mix up. i'd looked at both!

ohhhs could work if added occasionally but i just think hmmms would make it so much more original and stand out from all those run of the mill artists.

try it out, let me know how it hits.

i've been in this business for more years than i care to remember (not that i'm giving my age away)  i'm currently working with some top uk and us acts so i know what i'm talking about.

i think your first song would appreciate being broken up with a line of humming (hmmm) between every fourth line.

write it out for me again but including the humming and see if it hits me in a different way.
