when im playin a song should i keep the same stumming pattern as the intro as most song i play are the same strumming all the way threw e.g oasis songs, or should i just strumm along 2 what the words sound like

hello in an earlyer post someone was sayin how they are having trouble with learning strumming patterns to songs and they have to listen song loadz of time before they figure it out.
well i was wondering if the longer u have been playing guitar the easyer it gets to pick up the strumming pattern to songs.
because im a new to guitar and im having trouble with strumming patterns. THANX ASH!!!!
