Hi

The new system of findings tabs on chordie is bothering me. The songs are arranged in albums and there are songs from each album. BUT! there is only one tab per song! Just then i wanted to find the tab for the smashing pumpkins song 'to forgive' to my dismay i found that there was only i bass tab. the old system used to show several different tabs and u could go through and find the best one. Now there is only one tab. Is there a way i can look at other versions?

Does'nt this chord pattern get overused again and again

I     V    VI    IV

its in almost every pop song u hear on the radio

i prefer this altenative

I    V     VII     IV

tele means (in greek) - 'from a long way away', so maybe 'telecaster' means to 'cast' music out from a long way away. (since it was one of the first electric guitars and was a lot louder than the acoustic guitars, therefore could be heard from further away)

who cares about country music anyway??????

I only read spam for a laugh, i dont understand how some people believe it. Just out of  interest the other day on chordie i clicked on one of the advertisments. the "fastest way to learn scales, triple your learning time' one. I signed up for it expecting the worst and pretty much got it. Straight away i got a 'personal' email from the creator. 'He' sent me the link to a pdf file of a "scientific document". This was the funniest thing i think i have ever read. It linked underground street fighters and russian atheletes to learning guitar scales!!!!!!!!!

HAHAHAHA

anyway, it is kind of sad i guess.

These probably arent the best 5 guitarist but they are the guitarists that have been the most  influential to me.

1. john frusciante
2. dave navaro
3.Stevie Ray Vaughn
4.Dave grohl
5.Jimi Hendrix

Like i said, apart from stevie and hendrix these arent the best guitarist, but they are my favourite guitarists

I wouldnt call rage nu-metal, nu metal is more like um.........linkin park or limp bizkut. Rage is more funk-influenced than those bands. SOAD is almost metal, but no not metal.

i wish the stations were specialised like that here in Australia.

If you don't live in the city here the only kind of radio stations you can get are the top40 kind that play rubbish and stuff from the 80's.

Although there is triple j which is rather good.

What do you mean there is no really old red hot chili peppers? The stuff i was listeneing to was from the early 80's and that was before i was born so it is old to me.

thanks to your help everyone ill check it out.

haha this is the most amusing site if you are bored

Just one of the names it came up with:
Incomplete Zucchini And The Jedi Lamp

               ???wtf???

this is a funny clever name although it has already been used. It was a band that Dave Grohl used to play in as a teenager.

Dain Bramage

lol.

Does anyone know a site where i can purchase some cheap Elixer Acoustic strings. I live in australia and here they are about $40 a packet. Ive heard that you can get them cheaply of the internet.

Thanks

Alex.

honestly topdown its not worth the effort. haha. :-)

its not their music. their music is fine, if not a little bland and dull. its their attitudes. they are so ego-driven and arrogant and they need to come back down to earth.

oasis sucks. haha, i watched a documentry that called them the 'biggest band of all time'. no. they're not. and if they are, most of the worlds population must have absolutly no musical taste at all.

umm. most stuff today is garbage.
