hello, I just noticed what may be an error on the "chord chart" list.

the "Gmaj7" that shows starting on the 2nd fret is going in the wrong direction.


it is listed as xx2345 but I believe it should be xx5432


I noticed it after I just signed on to the "acoustic forum" and found a lot of confusion on how to chord the Gmaj7....

if I am wrong for any reason, please let me know as I am new here.

by the way, I really enjoy all that this site offers and has helped me quite a bit.

sorry, I was listing it LOW to high. not High to low....

hello, new user here putting my 2 cents worth on this....


it looks like the bar chord you have listed as

3=G

3=C

5=G

3=Bb

5=E

3=G

is actually a C7 chord


what you actually need is:

3=G =bar with 1st finger

5=D =4th finger(pinky)

4=F# =2nd finger

4=B =3rd finger(ring finger)

3=D =bar with 1st finger

3=G =bar with 1st finger


But...I usually play an open Gmaj7 the same as 'aw32'did:

by the way: the confusion is because there is a 'typo' on the chord chart listed for Gmaj7..

it show: xx2345 but it should be in reverse order:

xx5432
