A Maton EC300 is almost equal to the best Martins and much better than the cheaper ones and come factory fitted with a martin thinline powered pick up that is absolutely devastating.I bought one on E bay in mint condition for 200 bucks

"King of rock and roll" I THINK NOT - he was just an average but OVERLY noisy blues guitarist in fancy dress - OLD CHUCK BERRY WAS THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL GUITARISTS - basic? yes ! but rock and roll most definately - and he sang well and wrote GREAT songs - something Jimi never could do!!!!

Compared to even the most average Jazz player Jimi was a music illiterate and very limited so he had to be so theatric to get attention - he was not an original - getting his sound from Link wray

U2? Oh my god they are BORING - would someone take away the edge's effects pedals - they started as a bunch of guy's who did not know how to play and have'nt learnt much since,talent accounts for nothing in the entertainment biz _ self promotion is every thing. they are living proof!!
