I must admit I am out of touch with electric guitar stuff as I tend to play my acoustic more than anything. Hello there tjbigs, in answer to your query I have heard of a program called Sibelius which is a composing software program which also lets you print out a very professional looking end product. I think it is a bit expensive to buy but maybe you could download it somewhere or maybe a trial or demo version.
Failing that why not put composin software in Google and see what other types there are? Hope this helps.

Hello Guys, my name is Ant and I'm a newbie here so let me start by saying I'm pleased to meet some fellow guitar lovers.
I have a question that I hope someone out there can help me with.
Quite simply my amp, which I've had for over thirty years is buggered and I haven't a clue what's wrong with it or how to fix it. Therefore I would like to know if it is possible to play my guitar through my PC and if so , how? Are there any special adaptors I need to get or maybe software?
