Hi there - I don't feel it's "confrontational" when you defend yourself after a public statement has been made that is wrong.  I'm working very hard on my project and it's a labor of love.  I enjoy Chordie.com and all the resources available here, and I am creating a website that I believe people will find very valuable.

I'm just looking for any insight and help I can gather with regard to quality guitar lesson sites that are mostly free.  Almost all of those websites have some type of links to products or ads, so a little bit of that is okay, but I prefer sites that don't use the interruptive pop-ups and flashy animated banner ads that I see above me as I write this.

If anyone has favorite free guitar lesson sites that they enjoy, other than Chordie.com (cause I already love this one), please give me a note - thanks!

Amy:

I did read the guidelines and there is absolutely nothing commercial about my website or the links - that's why I chose to have them on my website, and spent much time making sure that I chose good, worthwhile websites that provide free online guitar lessons and resources.

As a matter of fact, I had a team of people searching for good, useable websites to link to.

You are wrong and obviously did not take a good look at my website.  I have Chordie.com on my website as one of my top resources.

Your statement that most of my links take visitors to outside commercial sites that are trying to sell them something is bogus.  What's that I see to the right of this page - why, it's a an for the GuitarScaleSystem.com - looks like Chordie.com is trying to sell me something in this forum.

My website has none of that.

Hi - I am looking everywhere I can doing research on good guitar lessons online that are free or partially free.

I am building a website that I want to be very useful for all guitar players and aspiring guitar players.  It's under construction.

Anyway, I have my top 10 list, but I'm finishing a list of top 100 free guitar lesson sites online, and I'm having a hard time finding worthy sites.  I have 97 sites in my chart now, but not all of them are good, so I'm not happy about that.

I am open to any good suggestions and helpful tips.

I don't like those sites with lots of banner ads and pop-ups and hard-sell stuff, ya know.

Thanks,

Robyn

I love that.  Can I use it on my website that I'm building?  I'm wondering what the text says 'cause I can't read that language, can you?
I am creating a section about guitar jokes and humor - that's perfect!
