Raul Malo - Your only lonely... the entire album.  Does a cover of a couple of songs mentioned on here, including the title track.  Raul is formerly the lead singer of the Mavericks, a country music band of the 90's. His solo career is much tighter, and hold true to a "Crooner" type of feel…  Mr. Malo is an artist's artist.  I saw him live in Nashville in a small private setting a couple of years ago...  "Feels like Home." The songs are mostly cover's and you can find them on here.

Also like Garth Brooks version of "To make you feel my love"

Good luck.

I have the Learn and Master the guitar course... it is exactly that, a course... I am an intermediate player, been playing about 10 years...  The course is comprehensive and not for the faint of heart... it will take a year to cover all of the material and "master" it...   The lessons are easy to follow and the Jam sessions on the disks are helpful in teaching you to work and play well with others..   I am about 40% through it after about 10 weeks...  It will take a year to finish...  I can already notice a major improvement in my playing, and I really haven't covered anything I didn't already know how to play, but rather I didn't know what it was I was playing half the time...  Learning to read music has been the biggest challenge

Be patient with youself.  There are some great resourses on the net for beginners.  You should be concentrating on the basics, and make sure you are using the correct hand position, and note placement.  Be sure that you are playing all the proper strings and hitting the chords clear.  It is better to play 3 chords well and hit your transitions than get over your head and play 6 chords that sound like crud...  Most of all, make it fun... there are a boat load of 3 chord songs out there... get a couple you like to play - Select songs with seperate 3 chord progressions, play the chords, and strum with the cd or the way it sounds in your head...  Advanced strumming and fingering patterns will come later...  Learn the individual notes in the first position and memorize them forwards and backwards.  EFGABCDEFGABCDEFG... know the basics, the sharps and flats will come... If you know the notes of the chords you are playing, it will help out tremendously as you progress...

Good luck
