what other songs does neil young use this on please? i have bought a little stick on pick up for my banjo and put it thru my studio,,and it sounds great,, but im still kinda struggling for tunes to use it on. as you said,ive been using it as a quieter background type thing , but would love to play something that i can make it more prominent on.thanks in advance for any info friend.

tune down a couple of keys,, i.e,, instead of 1 and 6 being " e " tune down to a d,, and tune the other 4 strings accordingly... i know,, im the original squeaky voice!!!!!!

i cant seem to post replies to anything on here,, i go thru firefox,, still doesnt work,, even thru myown server,, every time i try it disconnects,, plus i still have adverts over the top of everything,,like now,, typing this,, i can only see half of the screen,, im typing blind for half a vertical page,,, help?

i do this too,, i have a 12 track recording studio,, and it helps to have a backing track on the keyboard,, a good move in my opinion

anyone have any tips on good songs for this? please,, no deliverance references,, i been playing guitar for about 15 years,, so i know what im doing with it,, i wwould like some suggestions as to what would be kinda off the wall songs to play on it,,i.e,, whole lotta rosie..sweet child o mine,, that kinda thing,, what would be everyones suggestions for non banjo songs,,, to be played on  banjo

sadly not,, tho its a good idea that i'll be looking into some more, thanks a lot ken,, much appreciated. at least i've got something to work with now.

what type of guitar decky ? i been playing for a good few years,, and its unlikely your plecky has anythin to do with it. i play both accoustic and electric , and find a softer plectrum ideal for the accoustic stuff.. with something a little firmer for those power chords on the electric.. but really can use either or.it depends on how your using it too. i think the guitar may be the fault. hope this helps and all the best.

thanks ken,, i appreciate the help,, but my pc doesnt have a mic socket, my studio ( zoom 1266 ), obviously , does. i'm goin nutz here, today i got guitar pro 5 for the pc.. and id love to get some of the percussions on to the studio,, i just dunno how to link them up..please ,, please help,,, and as a side issue,, are you in scotland,, if so where ?... cheers ,, and happy jammin 2u <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_confused.gif" border=0 alt="Confused">

if  your holding down a string on,, say the 3rd fret,, " hammer on " a finger, to, say,,the 5th fret,,, and lift it off again,, really quickly,, like a hammer blow  on a higher fret if you like,, strike it and off again,,, hope this helps
