My main guitar is a '78 Hohner HG-30. Picked it up for $219 (included a brand new hard-shell case). Looks like a Martin D-45 w/ a D-35 three piece back. Plays like a gem. I'd have to pay at least $2000 for a guitar of comparable tone and playability, so it will never get sold.

If you have a PDA, I highly recommend Pocket Guitar. It not only allows you to search by chord name, but you can tap the strings w/ a stylus to not only find the name for chords you create but it even allows you to strum the chords to hear what they sound like. This is especially useful when you have no guitar handy and your trying to experiment w/ new progressions, which btw you can also save. As if this wasn't enough, It also allows you to display just about every scale and mode known to man! Oh and if you tap play, you can hear what these sound like as well. Play mode comes in Acoustic, electric, and distortion. Truely the best $24 US I have ever spent.

It is never too late! As I like to advise people considering college later in life: In 4 years you can be 4 years older with no degree (in this case still not playing guitar) or you can be 4 years older with a degree (or in this case playing guitar fairly well). The choice is yours. If I were you however, I'd pick up that guitar.

I love my 1978 Hohner HG320. All solid woods: Bearclaw spruce top w/ roswood back and sides. Bought it in 1997. Cost me all of $219 w/ 5 ply hardshell case included. Plays better than many guitars costing 5-10x the price. As it's a Hohner and has no collector value, I plan on keeping it forever.

Does anyone have the Chords and Lyrics to this song? I've looked all over, but no luck.

I've been looking for the chords to this 50's protest song, made famous a decade later by Quicksilver Messenger Service. Any help would be appreciated.
