i have two cents about tuning.  i have soprano, concert and baritone ukuleles.  for at least a year i struggled with georgemartin and a sour sound.  most sopranos sound much better tuned in d at adf#b rather than gcea.  give it a try.  welcome to the ranks of ukers.
