Good Old Johnny Cash!

This was a long time coming.

Love the idea of a flower picking festival.  But somehow i never did see

him with bunnies at his feet and little birdies flying around his head!!.

loved him none the less.

Hurt" is such a beautiful song, always makes me cry.

Good Girl lastrebel,

I really like this, I have also played it. plays like one of my own songs.

But i bet your melody is different to mine, they always are.

Strange that, when the chords are so few. Very well done.

Old Doll.

PS. Poor old Porter Wagoner is gone to the Grand Ole Oprey in the Sky"

Did you like his music? He was around a very long time in the music scene.

"May Heaven be his Bed"

Thank You Ark,

I have done this twice, i now hold my breath!!. Strange when they use

those letters at the end? I thought this helped do away with all this stuff.

This Woman is actually very naive at times.

Hi Docs

I have never bought anything on line. But my Sons do! they have never
had a problem.. I have clicked only on 3 sites. The Starker one on myspace,

also an Astrological One, which is something im very interested in!

Also an Ancestry Site, which i have never had a problem with, been dealing with the latter for quite some time now.

I will let the Forum know what is found when my PC is checked in more
detail this week.

Hi GuitarDocphil & Southpaw41l,

I have so much admiration for you 2 people and anyone who has to live and
learn again with new strength in there minds.

You are both a perfect example of what can be achieved with determination.

One of my family members Hand was degloved in a car accident. I remember
the fear in his eyes, and my shock at seeing his hand surgically inserted into his abdomen to feed and nourish the bones and bits that was left. It was like  looking at a science fiction movie. The surgeons took skin muscle, tendons, nerves all  kind of body parts to make his hand function again.
They did there work and he did his. took a long time, but he can
do most anything he puts his mind  and new hand to. Such strength has to be admired.

Next time i have a small piece of grit in my shoe, thats irritating me, i will
bring you all to mind. I will remind myself how you whethered your storms
and brought yourselves to this point in life so majestically.

My love and Positive thoughts to you all.

I have been with Chordie now , i think since Feb this year. Never Ever Had

a Problem here. My Problem is with other sites.

Old Doll.

This little tune was written some years ago. I had some woman Friends
for lunch. One of them had her divorce papers with her. We Cried and Laughed
together at the loss alround.
When they left i sat in the garden and this was the result of what our
discussion had been about! Some of the guys did come back, To Late! As some moved to new pastures in there Heads.
The song as usual has simple chords, is picked all through,{says she delighted with herself} and i feel a lovely Melody.

New PasturesWords/Melody  Helena Donovan

[G] The ending of a marriage [D] deal

Hi Moddish,

I have a very small Dictaphone. Inexpensive and smaller than a pack of

Cigerettes. I find when walking the dogs its the easy way to keep track of

thoughts and ideas.

Happy Sunday Morning to you Docs,

This is one of the reasons i have to change my guitar? when i practise
for to long, i get  a real sore shoulder. Ive been looking at smaller bodied Guitars. I do hope this is my answer to this problem.

Hi All,

Its Halloween next Wednesday. One of our local venues has a fancy dress
last night. The woman were chorus girls, garters and boas. or indian Maidens,  Slappers, witches, nuns and so on.

The "MEN" what can i say " boys and there toys?. I have never seen so many
men dressed as cowboys. Guns and holsters every where, stetsons, chafs
neckties. They were comparing there guns like family jewels. The smell
of sulphur and the bangs of caps was something else. Never laughed so much in my life.  I actually expected to see horses tied up outside.  These guys dancing to "Da Do Run Run" some of there do's ran away many years ago lol  There was a touch of High Noon about the place. but none as appealing or handsome as Gary Cooper.

Then you have the men who really do dress as woman for a laugh. Hairy chest and lippy and oranges for boobs,  somehow doesn't gel, but funny to see.

Then the few you just know love dressing as woman. some of these guys were in 4 inch stilletos. They walked and danced in these better then myself
who has worn them all my life. Pouting and preening in the bar mirrors.

Another guy we know had such a tight dress on, we asked what support he had under the dress, as he looked like his manhood was surgically removed.!

As the music was loud, I thought this guy asked me about " Air Duc! Which i found very strange! as this is a product we put down loo's to keep fresh?
When the music stopped and i realised he was talking about Air Ducts,
as in ventilation, i  had to be scraped off the  floor i was laughing so much,
and i must admit so was he.

Music was also great.

Now after all this rambling, what do you dress up as for halloween and why?.
