A long time ago in grade nine we had one student whose
last name was Arsenault. He never had his homework done and it would really P off the teacher. One day the teacher had enough and got real mad. He said "What are we going to do with you", I piped up and said "Throw him out the window, Arse and all". Well I had to make a trip to see the principle and got in trouble for saying that. All the other kids had a good laugh. Thinking back it was a hoot.I learned to be quiet around that teacher. He was a real hot head.

In 1994 at the 25th anneversarry of Woodstock Music Fest,
the music and bands were mostly classic rock and people had a great time. In 1999 at the same concert the bands and music changed to to more modern bands of heavy metal, some
rap, and head banging music and people burned conessions
stands and trashed the stage. It was a total mess and the concert will never happen again. Music changes with time,
and can be powerful. Not sure if music was the cause of the
chaos, but adrenalin was running high. Could this be an example of the mice and music theory??

My heart is sad because "Heaven called another blues singer back home". Jeff Healy a great blues guitarist passed on today at the age of 41 due to cancer. Blind at an early age, he became
a great blues man teaching himself how to play. He wrote some great songs and was the blind guitar player in the movie "Roadhouse" He will be missed.

I suggest you secrectly leave one here, there and everywhere, or maybee a display case where each one has a story.Thats a lot of stories to remember. My collection is about 26 in total, small compared to over 500.Good luck in your guest.

I have no use for a thief, get a job and buy the things you steal. I have had a few things stolen from me and was none too happy about it. I try to find the good in things and people. But yes I hate a thief.

Funny stuff Topdown. Ordinary Average Guys. When in Plattsburg we stoped and borrowed two huge Joe Walsh signs that were tied to a chain link fence promoting the concert .oops still have em. He puts on a real great show.I
hear the Eagles are coming to Moncton, New Brunswick in july. May just have to go see Joe again.

Take care...Badeye.

Interesting topic Sowthpaw, I too play harmonica and have 20 or so that lost their sound.  I've taken a few apart and tried to repair with no luck. Special 20's seem to last the longest. Hey just love the sound of an acoustic guitar and a blues harp, makes for great kitchen jams.

Take care ... Badeye

Thats Joe Topdown, He appeared on the Drew Carry Show a few times and I was fortunate to tape them. The night he played in Hamptom Beach Casino he played 12 different guitars and rocked. A couple nites later in Plattsburg,NY, at the end of the show the band threw about 100 tennis balls into the crowd, I maneged to get a six pack of em. Been a Joe Walsh fan for a while.

Yeap, Cytania thats Joe. Some earlier bands he played in are "Barnstorm" and "The James Gang" and of course "The Eagles". Got a chance to see him live in the USA in 1997. Had a great time on our Joe Walsh trip. We watched him two nights and he wore some crazy outfits as well. Plays great guitar.Glad to help.

I have a real thick head of hair thats almost white now. People say "Oh my the grey" I tell them its a sign of wisdom,
don't know if they believe me or not, {could be dead brain cells} lol. Many times I threatened myself to get a buzz cut
but never did. They say it always grows back. Good thing James the spring is on the way and tempetures are getting
warmer. A good buzz = less manitience.

Cool stuff Russell, I have collected almost all Sonny and Brownie"s music. They were real great musicians. Guess I just can't get enough of the blues. I have a video cassette
of them at the Montreal Jazz Fest in 1971 which is great as well. Enough blues ramblin'.

Old Doll, you crack me up, nothing like a good laugh. The
tune I believe is Sonny Terry "Whoppin The Blues". A great blues man from days gone past. Google Sonny Terry and get the song with Brownie Maghee and Pete Seger in a kitchen
in the 60's. It's great music. All the videos by Peglegsam are
of good quality. Also check out Elizabeth Cotton great guitar playing. Enough rambling.
