there once was a tall man
he was as tall as a wall
if he fell over
he had a long way to fall
although he had to be careful
when passing through doors
with a bit of luck
he would remember to duck
otherwise he would
bash his head
and the tall man
would fall

Marlon is a kiwi that has been successful with his music in many countries.
you can see why here.
if you like auto tune and tv talent shows  you will hate this.

I find Bill an interesting artist, his songs are often different to the usual formula.
love his voice too,he is an artist that should be one of my favourites but i find
much of his music non commercial and difficult to get into.
Having said that i still think he is great and all power to him.
have a listen WHAT DO YOU THINK.

Empty room
but filled with light
even on   a dark night
some may say loneliness
but also peace and quiet
the stillness of air
the absence of care
almost so glad
know one else here
empty room

Tig
good to see you taking the ball and running with it
nice song.

Beatles or Stones
fender or gibson
jazz or blues
60s or 70s music
rap or hip hop (i dont know what the hell they are but anything to get a conversation going)

Im always looking for new music, someone who is doing something new or different.
This track /video hit me on so many counts,original/theatrical/energy/disturbing/sad.
its not for everyone thats for sure as its very dark, but theres no doubt the talent here.
good to see a young artist doing his own thing and not following the hit formula.
what do you think??????????????????????????????????????????

Only Hits
i only listen to the hits
guitar riffs the best bits
same 4 chords going round
like a bus around our town
turning down no side streets
so reliant on computer beats
a lyric that says    not a lot
meaning of which i forgot!

I had a beer with Peatle yesterday,he asked why i never post any more on chordie.
well i said why bother there is little to no feedback.im only looking for a conversation
on a subject i love, music!
i look at chordie every morning only to find know one else has bothered either.
i haven`t posted for 6 mths, but always read or follow links to the few things that are posted.
so after several beers with Pete i decided to give it one more shot to see if i can enliven
and breathe some life into chordie.
so i intend to bombard you with music stuff for the next 2 weeks to see if we can refloat this ship.
if i can get u lot talking that would be fantastic,if not well, i  will have my answer.

Jan , Jim,  Jeff the three J's and Piri and Richard here today in  NZ is a gentle rainy   20c Spring  day .  I have enjoyed doing a catch up reading and hearing everyone entries for this month. Thank you everyone it is good to see chordie getting some life back to it again.  Due to ganglion cysts and other issues with my hands making it too painful and hard to play guitar and piano I will most probably have to be a observer instead of being a participant for a while. Keep up the good work everyone.

Pete
we can still look forward to your poems though.

no need to apologise,we sure have plenty of lamb here
although we have far more sheep  and they are hellbent on putting
farmers out of business,so maybe that will be good for your farmers
unless this movement has got UK farmers in their sites too.
im told eating crickets is on the increase, sounds nice eh.

jets
great to see you singing, you look so at ease and natural doing it.
would have liked to see the guitar playing though.
