Using wordpress is about the cheapest you can get...a few bucks for the domain, a few bucks for hosting and you're done. The sites are not glamorous but they work, SEO well and you can edit them yourself without paying a geek $55 an hour. Here are some examples I've made in the last month or two (I don't want to link spam so just type these in your browser)

I know WIX is supposed  to have advertisements (the free version) so I expect that. Oh well, it's not guitar related anyway. I was just trying to find a way for our club to stay in touch .

Thanks and Ditto.

I'll be here Noodling till I hit the couch and dose off before the first commercial is over.
I have actually seen improvement in my playing this year. Jamming and visits to the nursing homes have helped. Happy New Year and be safe.

I don't care for the all black but I do like to experiment or be different. I once had a set of Firebird style honeycomb wheels on an El Camino. I painted everything black except the polished flat surfaces. I put Vaseline on the flat surfaces-painted-let dry- and wiped Vaseline and un wanted paint off. Looked pretty darn good.

I think you will like both.

The closest I got was a new Epiphone hardshell case for my 12 string. Oh, and a new strap for my Yamaha. I appreciate them both.

Isn`t a new set of strings part of a setup anyways.A good setup may do wonders, especially on an epiphone.Epiphones are notorious for being poorly set up.They also come to life really nice when they are setup well.Good luck on yours

Could well be. I am not sure.

We have some great folks at our nearest guitar shop. If it were me I would let them look at it first and they would give me honest input on what the guitar needed. Maybe a   set up or maybe just new strings. That way the set up could be done before the strings are installed if needed.

I turn the tuner when Frank Sinatra comes on no matter what song.

Prayers for all involved. So tragic.

O Holy Night by Johnny Mathis is the one that brings back the thoughts of Christmas when it was special to me.

I love it! Always have. Another good song and I don't have a link is Porter Waggoners
"I JUST CAME TO SMELL THE FLOWERS".

This is not the joke thread but I couldn't resist.  Al                                                        A guy from Louisiana met a wife (on INTERNET)from North Carolina. He made arrangements to pick her up in his flat bed truck. About half way home he says"You know,we haven't consummated this marriage". She says "We need to do that". So they got under the truck to do that. In a little while the guy felt a State Trooper tapping his foot and saying "what are you doing down there"? Thinking quickly he says "We are working on the clutch". The trooper says "You need to work on the emergency brake, your truck is at the bottom of the hill"!

Anyone here from Tennessee? I was just wondering how this works. If you have a home fire how do the fire fighters know if you have paid or not? Do they take time to find this out before they dispatch the truck or do you have to prove you have paid when they get there? I am happy to say our guys would be dispatched instantly and any thing else would be tended to later. I'm just glad there was no one in this home that couldn't get out.
