Merry Christmas to you and your family Dino,
The Very Best to All in 2011
Kenny
Sorry to see you moving on PopaTom...but I'm guessing you'll be dropping by every now and then.
Best of Luck at your new board, it looks pretty cool with lots going on.
As a thought for your strings, possibly you can hook into "Picks Around The World" I know your strings would eventually get to someone that needs them.
All the Best
Ken
Sorry I can't explain my style of picking, it's is just something I picked up along the way. Try and practice/learn as many styles as possible or you'll end up like me and have only one basic style of picking to show after many years of playing.
Ken
Hey PapaTom
Congrats on your find. Hoping the folks are as friendly as they are here at Chordie. Throw us the link and in the mean time...don't be a stranger.
Merry Christmas
Ken
Welcome to Chordie CC!!! Lordy You surely do think a lot.
There is a link in the recording section should you want to volunteer your talents to helping others record tracks or to offer assistance in any way.
Looking forwards to your input.
Ken
Hey ck, Just had a listen to both tracks and your other Myspace tracks. I like your vibe.,
Thanks for bringing this up Artless.
I'm curious about the one room schoolhouse outside of London Ont. I'm from, and still in London and am curious if the tracks were recorded in the Lucan area.
Ken
Holy Moly ...That's all I can say...
Very cool how he plays what he feels and doesn't give a crap what others around him feel.
Great link Zurf Thanks
Ken
I like where you are going with this Artless,
You need to throw in a strong chorus, to make this feel more complete.
Merry Xmas
Ken
Welcome to Chordie Katie:)
There are lots of great folks on board that are biting at the bit to help where they can. So by all means post up a question or offer a solution or just join in on the banter.
Merry Christmas
Kenny
Hi Ark,
Nice work on both pieces
The reverb sounded a little too strong on the guitar in Blue Balloon (could be my tinnitus)but other then that it is another excellent composition. Kudos.
I like the way the strings? come in at around 2:10 on She Moves the Fair. There is a lot happening in this and you did a great job in the mix. What song is this close to...one of yours ? because it doesn't sound familiar to me.
Merry Christmas to you and Yours
Kenny
Good to hear your not going to lose any files.
It's always nice to have a friend that can jump in and save the day.
Kenny
I've always enjoyed watching the Christmas displays on houses that have the lights set to music. The imagination/talent it must take to do this is pretty inspiring. This fellow has quite a few songs posted on his site.
Enjoy
Hi Artless, lots out there in the third person, I written a few myself. Here is the link for one I wrote with the re-write directly under the original.
Check it out if you wish.
Kap
Hi Amy,
I had listened to this when you first posted the recording and really enjoyed it. I still do. You have a great voice that fits your song perfect. Kudos. I also wanted to apologies for not commenting as I was in a pretty dark place then. Anywho congrats on a great collab with Russ. Also congrats on getting on Country Rose's show. How's that going for you? Good I hope.
Merry Christmas to you and the Family
Kenny
Hi wmcdrum
You must play guitar some cause your chord progression plays A-OK. I like the feel of this, kind of 50's-60's country(at least that's what I felt from your lyrics). Well Done.
Give a shout if you need a hand formatting your songs, it's really pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
Cheers
Kenny
Welcome to Chordie Andrew,
Congrats on your first post and hopefully the first of many more to come.
Check out Russ's tips on recording with Audacity (I think he still has them up) It's a free program that's fairly easy to use. Don't worry too much about your vocals...everybody hates the sound of their voice at first.
Good write lyrically, now if we could just hear it.
Thanks for posting.
Kenny
I just did a quick check and noticed that there are currently 798 guests and 68 members on this site which would help to explain the slowdown. Maybe pick a time when it's not busy so the non-whiners can get through easier or maybe donate $$$$ to the Chordie cause so the servers can be updated. Per does a great job keeping this forum going with what he has.
Thanks Per
Yer Choice...Holy Moly
Thanks for bringing this thread back up
Congrats on your 5th place finish Ark That's gotta make you feel pretty good. Now I can't wait to hear a #1 from you. Great job on the mix.
Well I finally got to hear your vox on "When the Rain Falls" Ye got a gre-e-at voice laddy We need to hear more of it.
Cheers and Merry Christmas to you and Yours.
Kenny

I can smell the cinnamon and taste the eggnog reading this piece. The best time of the year hands down.
Nice write.
Merry Christmas to you and all.
Kenny
Hi Lane, Thanks for the read and comments.
It feels a little strange writing a piece like this at this time of year (Christmas) but it just came out and I went with it.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Kenny
PS...There is only one of me.
Welcome to Chordie Lane,

Hey, Welcome to Chordie Baldguitardude,
Good to see your jumping right in As they say there's lots of friendly folks here on Chordie and it appears you're gonna fit right in.
That must have been be a bit of a drag finding that dead bird in your pool. (Nice pool by the way)
Cheers
Kenny
Hi Phil. No need to apologies.
That's awesome Ann beat her bout with cancer. With a good man such as yourself by her side I'm sure her confidence will return with time. It never occurred to me when writing this that it could hit close to home for friends and I do apologies if it brings back unwanted emotions.
Thank You for the read and comments.
Merry Christmas to You,Ann and Family
