Good poem TF. I'm reminded that, in my youth, I chased ladies and dreams- only to find sadness reigning.

Man, I feel so bad for them, they've had a real rough go of it. Hope all is well and they're just taking a much deserved break.

Funster, just watched your link- I'm at a loss for words, my jaw is still on the floor!  How does one learn to play like that?

Hello and welcome to the forums. I'm sure someone will help you with your request, a little more info would help - is it a song by betty grable or about her or who wrote it. I remember a popular movie actress by that name.

Really pulls at the heart strings. I gotta agree with Jim, its beautiful just as it is.

I've lost my calluses too, since my back went south I haven't played my guitars and much as I want to.

I need some help with a computer problem- my wife attempted to install "chrome" on her computer, her internet explorer browser is no longer there, windows defender has been turned off, and there is a lot of stuff happening on her computer now. What can she do to get her system back to where it was? I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance.

Doug, that "print to file" thing you mentioned is something I will have to try. I don't know how to do it, but I've got grandkids who can tell me how. Thanks for the info.  And also welcome Slammer.

Good news, make that GREAT NEWS! Happy to hear that Dondra will soon be well, and you both can relax and get back to musicating.

I joke about my wife a lot, but the truth is, she loves to see me get that look too JJJ.  I usually bring home what others consider junkers and after I fix them up and play them for a while most of what I buy is given away to those less fortunate or just starting out. I like working/tinkering on guitars, thats where the enjoyment is for me.

I can't do alcohol as a sleep aid, but there are some herbal sleep aids on the market that are said to be non-addictive. Most pharmacies carry natural sleep aids that can be purchased without a perscription.

I always brew my own coffee for a more consistent freshness and taste. I do agree with BGD, the mark up is a bit over the top.

I'm not a good picker either. Just practice really slow because your muscle memory develops from that. If you go fast and make mistakes your fingers remember that.  Slow. I shouldn't really be saying anything. I can't do it either.

Have to agree with Pete. Start practice slow, for me it's rediculously s l o w. Speed will grow at its own pace as long as you are accurate with your fingering.

I'd love to go out in the boat phishing with you, hope you can remember to put the drain plug in, I forgot that small detail several times and had to do some quick thinking before the boat sank.
