If your tracks start out relatively in-sync, and as time progresses in the song they become more and more out-of-sync, this is likely due to an incompatability with the sample rate you are using. At the bottom-left of the main Audacity window, change the Project Rate to another setting, such as 48000Hz.

Hope that helps....Also I would turn off anything running in the background while recording..such as anti virus software...

fatstrings sent me a link to this Third Hand Capo video....ive never seen nothing like it.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjrLW4ca … re=related
Its 12.95 at musiciansfriend.com

this is only a quick fix

You could try taking a "very small" piece of paper and folding it a time or two and place it underneath the string at the top of the neck...that should raise it just enough to keep it from buzzing.....

looking at this manual here http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi … 2000E1.pdf
..it shows the rhythm on channel 9 and 10 as the default setting...its on page 94

channel 1-8 default settings are voice main....

dont know if this is of any help or not...just taking a stab at it.. smile

No there is truly nothing worse at all. I know i have a truly charmed life but its part of the human psyche to hate change so im claiming my natural write.  but to ken and topdown, thank you very much for pointing out that it be swithced to the old way. i am known for not being able to see whats in front of me.

Thank you very much.

Sanguine

Dont feel too bad sanguine...I just now realized there was an auto scroll on the song pages...all this time i was trying to make the text smaller so i could see it all at once...lol

I recommend a pa or powered mixer...I bought a Fender LX1506 6 channel mixer and 2 Peavey 112M Monitors for about 500.00...Im able to distance the monotors out to spread the sound around and if anyone else decides to plug in...then its easier to blend the instruments and mics....

Ive been using it for a few months now and like it alot..I first used it on a 2gig processor 768 ram computer...and it done fine until i started added alot of effects and eqs to it...it would stutter a little....and when i say alot of effects...i mean i probably overkilled it to begin with because i was just seeing what all it would do to the sound...I have recently got a new puter with a quad core processor and 3 gigs of ram and it runs smooth...no matter how much i load it down with effects...I learned what little i know by watching the youtube videos you talked about...I have to give it a thumbs up but ive never really tried any of the other programs other than the free ones like audacity and reaper..

PS if you get make sure you watch the youtube tutorial on noise reduction....

To boost moral here in tennessee they are going to pass a new requirement for all gas station emplyees...So that everyone will feel better when they are paying for gas , the attendant must first put on a ski mask and hold a gun to each customers head until the transaction has been completed..If we are going to be robbed....might as well keep it real...

Sometimes when they come back its because they are embedded in your system restore points....You can delete your restore points then clean your system..I had a problem a few years ago and that was why it kept coming back...Im no computer genius now but you might look at that as an option if it continues...

I found this on youtube and you can see the chords well enough to see what they are..

I have maxed out my first songbook and have started a new one but I can't Chordie will only allow me to post to the first songbook. How do I get songs into the second songbook?

Look down the right hand side of the page when you are wanting to add a song...Where it says "Songbook" click on "Change Books"..
