Fair enough! I can actually play American Idiot on banjo.

Holy crap!!! Stop whining about your lack of coolness. Nobody gives a monkey's banana whether you're cool or not. Live for the music. I bet you can play half of us in under the table any day,( me for sure!) but your extreme lack of self confidence will always hold you back. If other people don't think you should be in their band...chuck them. Start your own or go solo. Dude, you worry over the weirdest things!

Absolutely!

I know I've seen it! I can play it, so I'd love a killlswitch. I have a strat, and apparantely, it's hard to put a  kill switch on a Stratocaster.

That's an interesting question, I've wondered about that before. I'd look to into it if weren't for these two reasons:

*It's too hard to find out things like that

*I'm fairly lazy

But in a different type of way, we hear things differently.
That's why some people like metal roll

Well, someone I know once started a band called "The Tough Guys", that's pretty awful, isn't it?

You started playing guitar for the wrong reason.

Yes but you're not me are you? You don't even know me, it was the right reason for me. Other than a career and enjoying a hobby, why else would you start playing? hmm
Have to think about that...

So many things remain A REAL MYSTERY if we start thinking about the moment our parents were "melting together" resulting in a human being. If they did the same thing 1 hour later, I don't think that I was Me. Add religion, civil wars, why, oh why. I just know that I exist, having bad and good in me. I want to rest, lay me down and dream. Dreams are giving me oxygen, doing things like flying, drifting away, being a "virtuoso" playing guitar.
Sorry, I was absent for a second.
Talking about that GUITARIST magazine, is it just available in England, or in Europe. I have 2 different, dutch written, magasines about guitar, and I also buy THE ACOUSTIC GUITAR magasine.
I love peace, and my guitar(s) give me peace, music gives me peace. I noticed that you're a pretty smart person, convinced that you can share your knowledge. What brand of guitar do you have? Is it a Flying V you have? I have one, and jesus, the sound is blowing away everything.
So please, I would appreciate it very much, to have information about that magazine.

No I don't have a Flying V, I've just held one, Hendrix's Flying Angel, to be exact. It was one he actually used. Sorry but I have to tell everyone that.

Hehe, you think I'm smart, wow! lol

It's OK to have dreams, I have dreams but they're private I'm afraid. Not all to do with guitars and peace. Oh well. hmm

I'm not a loud to play very loud. I have a practice amp, and I get told off for turning it up to three. Actually, with my Strat, I break the rule of  my signature quote, because I like to take bits off and put them on again (as you do)! D'you do that? It helps with my DT, I'm awfully poor at practical work.

I went of on a tangent there didn't I?

I think Guitarist IS available abroad, but you don't the subscribsion deals. Sorry!
I think my letter's in there next month.

Very emotional stuff,
I agree, because I can't be bothered to argue.
Seriously, I like the stuff you said.

Cool, I'll look in to it, and give it a try.
Thanks very much! wink

I'm also a Christian, but have only read parts of the New Testment. I still think ghosts/demons exist, and you can contact them, as long as you don't joke around. Notice I THINK they exist, but don't KNOW for sure.

I love this old HOKADA guitar. My Granddad gave it to me when I was 5, and only one of the strings has ever been changed: the Low E string. It was the first string I ever broke, Low E, how many people can say that?!

Seriously though, the funny thing is that the nut isn't fitted properly. Or at all. It's held on by the strings! I can slide it around easily (as you do), which makes it higher pitched which is cool. I have two acoustics I still use this sad old half-dead thing now, I love it! It used to belong to my 2nd cousin Ben, so I treasure it well (Well, I don't look after it, because it doesn't like to be looked after, but I just give it the bear essentials to keep alive). I love the way it's all scratched and what have you.

Blimey, I hope that guitar makes it to 40, I'll miss her I can tell you that.

I don't really understand it, but I'm sure it sounds great.

I'll play it soon! smile

Well done, I really envy your talent and Iknow that's unkind, but I do.

Oh thankyou.
That doesn't help me much but that's still interesting, I should listen to the whole thing.

It gets laughs when I play it.

I'm going to a festival in a village called Lode, in Cambridgeshire. Is anyone else going? My Dad's doing Health & Safety stuff, and I might be meeting some of the artists. There are loads of bands including: Badly drawn boy, Idlewild, The Bees, Ghosts, and Lodes more! (See what I did there? Lode/ Load?)

For more info. and the other artists, vist the website:
www.lodestarfestival.co.uk

There'll be something for everyone, I'm looking forward to it.

I'm guessing you're a Christian, then. So am I.
This isn't really my area, if it was I'd be a Demonologist, not parapsychologist.
I'll tell you if I find anything, that's an interesting question. Personally, I'm quite a skeptical investigator (meaning I don't believe everything I find, which is a good quality), and don't really believe that this can happen unless... you're mad.. I am aware of a Satanic religion, Satanic Mass etc., so I'll look into this.

I'm off jamming (by myself, without anyone else watching) for a bit.

All the best,

Will

Some South African's from our link school came over recently, they have great rythm, I made friends with one or two, they were so cool, and they just sing whenever they have an opportunity.

Got annoying after a while... only joking.
None of them played guitar though.

Listen to some South African stories and music (if you want, I can't tell you what to do, can I?), they're billiant.

Unfortunately my amp. is only aloud to be up to 1.5 on volume.

And it's a practice amp! mad
Not fair. But if I play acoustic there's no restrictions, because there's no amplification. I make that really loud. lol

Easy Zurf,

Songs you play, but you start with the volume to quiet. roll Duh!

Seriously though,

For me it's Peppermint Rag (because it doesn't come out loud enough for some reason) and Girls Girls Girls, because it just... sounds great.

I got it from the "Guitarist" magazine. I've wrote a topic on that.
Also I heard my DT teacher say it once but I HATE mad DT! That's why I'm not good at things.
Remember my signature it's good advice, don't fix it
I just need to tell acmecorp something nobody else needs to know: I've sent you an email.

Did you get the right video? Because that was somebody making a guitar for him and then he played a few riffs, but he didn't use a kill switch, there wasn't even one on that guitar. Check you've got the right link.
