[SONG]
{t:I'm Lost}
{st:by, Alex Scrimgeour 16/2/07}

Well as I [G]sit by the water and i look to the sky
I have a [D]smoke and drink a vodka Cos i want to get high
But then i [Am]think of all the times when i was holding your hand
But I'm [G]fine,yes i'm [D]fine

And as the [G]memory of your beauty passes through my head
I take a [D]long hard look at all the things that i said
And I re-[Am]member when I told you that i wished you were dead
I was [G]wrong, so [D]wrong

If I could [Am]turn back time well the you know that I would
I would [Em]change all the things ive said and done if i could
I'd [G]even tell you that i loved you and I wish you were here
But you're [D]gone,You're [Am]gone

Its been a [G]month and seven hours since you left me that day
I should have [D]seen it in your eyes when you were walking away
But [Am]how was i supposed to know that you would leave me that way
For [G]him, for [D]him

I want to [G]leave it in the past thats where i think it belongs
I need some [D]time to sit and think and try to right my wrongs
I'll [Am]go to jail for what I did to you that much is true
I dont [G]care, I dont [D]care

If you'd [Am]told me that you loved him I could understand
But the [Em]way it is right now I've got your blood on my hands
It was [G]me who pulled the trigger how d'ya think that I felt
When you [D]slumped,to the [Am]floor

Well I'm [G]gonna leave this letter right beside your grave
I feel [D]bad about my sins and 'bout the way I behaved
But [Am,]how can I repent for all the shit I've caused
I'm [G]lost,I'm [D]lost
I'm [Am]lost

Ok, ive figured out which songs i like best, songs like Wonderwall and Breakfast at Tiffany's!

Quick chord changes and lots of strumming is the way forward, I still cant play and B chords which kinda holds me back, but can anyone suggest any more songs like these that I could try?

Hi, i'm just learning too but what i do is play it through with one strum on each chord first untill i'm confident enough that i'll be able to get the chords right in time if i throw in a few extra strums, and after that you'll be able to do it any way you like.

Just got my guitar back from the shop, had a pickup fitted to it, been without it for a week and seem to have forgotten alot of stuff lol

I tell you what though, ive not even went near an amp with it yet but for some reason it sounds alot softer and better pitched then it did before, back to the drawing board for me!!!  <img src="images/smiley_icons/icon_lol.gif" border=0 alt="Laughing">

Hey,

I have a few songs you could play but, it deppends on what kind of music you like...

Nicklback - photograph

Yellowcard - one year six months, view from heaven, and more

Evanesence - wake me up

Kansas - dust in the wind

Simple Plan and Good Charlotte - almost anything from them

If you just look up your favorite bands you'll find songs you like and know, so you can play them. I had trouble with B and Bm for a long time, to switch and make it sound smooth. It still needs work but I'm able to play it now because I practiced a lot.

So, that's the best advice I can give. Practice new chords once you have the others down.

P.S.

Dont give up with those fingers! You'll soon have little trouble with them!

</td></tr></table>

Some good advice there mate, and i'll take heed of it.

My friend is a great player and has been showing me some stuff, he thinks im coming along great since ive only been playing for over a week, actually got my guitar for xmas, but decided to take it early lol

Thanks again everyone for your help, being honest this site has been the one thats helped me the most, and is now the only guitar site i visit!

i can only really play A G C E without having to look at a diagram of the chord on screen.
</td></tr></table>

Learn to play D.

That will free I IV V chord progressions in three different keys, and that means you can play thousands of songs, as they all progress the same way.

A D E

G C D

D G A

Add F and B and you're really rolling.

E A B

C F G

And practice.  Lots and lots.
</td></tr></table>

Sorry, i missed out D, i can play that.

B i cant get at all, not the barred version anyway lol i can play the B thats almost like A but a string up, if you get my drift lol

Hi, i found this site through a friend, and i noticed you have loads of songs, Tab and Chord, but i was wondering if you could point me towards any really easy songs to play, i can only really play A G C E without having to look at a diagram of the chord on screen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers
