Jeff, you want what every right thinking person wants and you put it so eloquently andto a great chord sequence!

A sad fact of politics is that the good people who go into politics to help and make a difference are running to do that very thing while the ones who want the power are running for office.  The good ones get left behind.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for your replies!

The spaces were intentional in order not to be seen by Chordie as commands in the post and change the format therein!

I've never come across the quirks of reverting back to normal font/indent, in fact mine is the opposite problem.  Never mind, just have to become a programmer/developer or soldier on regardless.  Guess which i'm gonna do!

Thanks again cool

I hope your old man keeps hearing 'big yellow taxi' - you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone!

Do you know, you make a big bowl of juicy cherries sound just about the happiest thing on this big planet of ours?  Yummie!  lol

Show me the way, I'll give you a jump!!!!!

To be honest, she doesn't take much notice of my hobby!

Mind, to be fair I don't take much notice of hers, either lol lol lol

I bought her a guitar last birthday, as she kept making 'I wish I could' noises but learning to play is way down on her list of priorities, so until that changes and she improves I don't think there will be much interest.  Maybe one day!

Hi, Temus and welcome!  Deja Vu or what!

Great set of lyrics, a shame the best love songs are written with a broken heart.

Gonna get my guitar and have a bash after breakfast

Well done and thanks for sharing

You're right of course me massive fan!  I always did keep me brain in the top half of me trousers - saves time with mental and physical stimulation being almost as one lol

Dalwhinnie is one of the classic malts of Scotland - almost as exquisitely smooth as myself, you understand! cool

I went to a private hospital for this one - paid by the NHS of course, but there seems to be a lot less damage down there this time.  Except they used metal staples instead of sutures so I look like a combination of a road map and train track lol

Glad you loved the skating by the way!  Fingers still intact I see!

Ciao, Bella

Knock yourselves out!  I do have an acoustic but the electric gives me more control over the volume as I don't really have a professional studio, regardless of the claim on the vid!

I'll probably do an unplugged version later at some point.

Thanks Southpaw, I'll practice diligently and wipe my ring.  lol lol lol

Hi All

we've had the what's your favourite band/song so what's the song you really love but everyone takes the mickey out of?

Ice Ice Baby, Vanilla Ice
Telephone Man, Mary Wilson
Gaudete, Steeleye Span

It seems to be a question of life imitating art/art imitating life.  A symbiotic relationship where one feeds off the other.  For instance Pulp Fiction:  Who wouldn't want to be as cool as Vincent Vega or Jules?  This leads to imitation, which leads to imitation which leads to imitation....

I guess the profanity thing started off in the male dominated workplaces such as Docks, mines etc and was then transposed to public life as a form of disrespect for authority and escalated from there to being part of everyday culture.  When I'm on duty as a Police Constable profanity isn't tolerated when dealing with the public.

Cheers
