I've always liked this one;

Hello Old Doll,
The 2 on-line locales that I often use for my musical equipment, unfortunately, both were of zero assistance. Adirondack guitars does not have the Taylor ce, and Music123 cannot ship out of the United States. They did however have the guitar in stock and the cost was $800.
Sorry I was unable to help you out thus far. 'Not giving up yet though! I tried ,unsuccessfully, to reach my friend who manages a local music store that deals Taylor guitars. When I hear from him I'll get back to you, OK?
Have a wonderful day,
SouthPaw41L
Timmay,

Loves overrated only get hurt in the end
I guess that depends on whether one is taking or giving, love that is.....................
Ok here is another "Little Wing" this is one of my favorites done acoustic style.
Holy schnazitters!!! I didn't like the way he ripped the strings away at the end of the tune but other than that my son and I were hypnotized 100%!!!!!
Thanks Toney
I'm still working on connecting my philburtflange to my grapplegrommet so I don't get kaduburated in the proccess.
One step at a time for this grasshopper.
Hillarious!!!!!
Hi Old Doll,
2 questions for you young lady; What is the model of desired Taylor ( 100, 200, 300, etc..) and what is 850 euro in USA money? ( sorry for my ignorance) I have a site that I buy most of my guitars from( tax free and free shipping) but I'm not sure if the same goes for oversea purchases though, I'll inquire. Let me know when you get the details and I will be more than happy to help you, OK?.
Ciao Bella,l

nevets17,
Nice links! The Dick Dale tune you posted was from 1963, here's a version of the same tune some 33 years later( 1996). And notice that DD is playing a lefty guitar strung right-handed. ( fat string towards the knee, skinny string towards the chin). Seal and blues great Albert King also play this way.

My offer still stands. I had one of my better paying weeks of my 26 years of doing this music thang on a professional level. I put a little chunk away to keep my word. I'm serious about playing some tunes, totally free of any expense on this musicians' behalf, when "Tater "( Mr. Greg Taylor) is finally free.
Words can't express the sorrow, anger, frustration, and total bewilderment that I, and I'm sure many others feel for this brave survivor. I just wanna be there when Mr. Taylors' freedom is celebrated, somehow, someway......
Sincerely,
SouthPaw41L( Toney Hall)
Jeff( topdown)-please continue to keep us all posted. I need a few months in advance to alter my schedule. Thanks for your heads up on this this matter. You're a good man! Greg" Tater" Taylor deserves a grand welcoming home, right? Hail yes!!!!!
nice pickin there Toney got to get me some of those "steel fingers" and give it a shot damm that boy is good
Yeah! Guitar Player did a feature on Jerry a while back and someone called him the "Jimi Hendrix of the dobro"! I have to admit I've heard and seen some amazing players of the dobro but JD's playing stands WAY above any others my big ole ears have absorbed.
I saw him playing with Alison Krauss& Union Station at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Florida the night George Harrison died. Jerry dedicated his solo to George. I guess the inside scoop in the music industry was that George wasn't doing so well, but at the time of the concert George was still alive. Pretty creepy and cool at the same time. I read the next morning that Harrison had passed. I got the chills all over and realized how amazingly special and awesome that Jerrys' 12 minute solo indeed was. It was one the most moving experiences I've had the pleasure of witnessing in anything related to music. The dude can flat out burn it up!
I am a huge Jerry Douglass fan!!!
Selso,
Many music store will string a guitar up for free, as long as you buy your strings from the store.( haha) Just let 'em know that you're having difficulty and ask if they'll talk you through the process.
Or maybe Russ or GuitarPix( they guys here on Chordie that play great guitar, are friendly, generous, sharing humans, and have computer savy as well) could put a little video together for you.

Good stuff badeye!
Here's a guy I hugely respect and admire; ( Jerry Douglas)
That was very, very cool Wayne! Thanks for the link. I'll be up all night tonight after my gig watching this awesome site. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Nice guitar work Russ. I like your mixture of tones, texture, and styles ( clean, dirty, whammy madness, pinch harmonics, and melodic scalin' all wrapped up nicely in one groovy tune!). Well done Russ..
