Nicely done boys!!! Left message on the cloud !!
Thanks Jan!
I appreciate the kind and on point feedback feedback.
it's difficult for me to voice songs because I 'm not much of a singer.
I appreciate that you took the time to give them a listen give me valuable commentary.
Hope all is well down under as begin to switch our seasons.

here ya go - and you can transpose to fit your needs as well
I'm not on facebook either. Thanks for the pics - looks like a blast.
Love to hear some tunes coming out of that band !
How many of those in the pic are chordians ?
The one picture reminds me of Abby Road album cover
OMG- I did the same thing this week end - I was trying to learn Uncle Kracker's Follow Me, and every dang time I'd try to play it without looking at the chords on paper, right in the middle of it I ended up playing the chorus of Drift Away by Dobie Gray.
I think my old brain cells that long ago got immersed in alcohol keep pushing back to re-emerge at their own chosen time
Great getting older ain't it ?
Jim
Sad news it is --- but as Jim Morrison said in his autobiography .....
"Happens to everybody. Nobody gets out of life alive."
(Although the line "No one gets out of here alive" is from his song Five to One )
Chuck was a game changer in the music industry, not only for his musical genius - but in terms of racial progress as well.
RIP CHUCK !
This is the Chordie songbook link to the chords and lyric revision in the easy to read and play chopro format.

Congrats Scott ! Looks amazing!!
I can't wait to see the video where you are playing that newbie and the other four guitars, bass, as well as the drums - gonna be a heck of a video ! I ws saddened not to see your Uke, but delighted to see the banjo and the Tambourine ! Hopefully they will all be in the Beamer One Man Band Video !!
Congrats again on a slick purchase Man !
Jim
TF - THANK YOU I try
Jan - with apologies - here is a new version
Phill - I don't know what a waltz goes like - but I know this isn't it ! However - what you said got me thinking - and so I put a new spin on it with different chords - a couple of minor lyric changes and came up with this.
I like it better than the first version. Jan - I promise I won't change it any more !!!
This is the link to soundcloud for it - I also posted new chords and lyrics there.

Have a great weekend everyone !
Jim
OK I don't get it.
If I have strings that are on my guitar that I have had for two years, and I play probably at lest 1/2 hour to an hour every day - but they are still perfectly in tune, why do I need to change them ? Or even if I played four hours a day - but they are still in tune - why change ?
What am I missing here ? Remember that I am not a guitarist per say - so be gentle !
Jim
Phill and Jan
Thank you for feedback.
Phill- If I actually knew how to write a waltz maybe it could sound like one. I think they are 3/4 time or something, but I don't know how that would go chord wise.
and Yep - pretty much all of my songs revolve around emotion or a story to tell.
Jan- Lol - Just when I think I have it - something new pops in my head - hence the changes - until finally I like it or give up I'm glad that you tried it .
Both of you ( or anyone else) - love to hear your version of it someday , if you have the time.
after two days of snow ( 43" in total) it's back to work!
Thanks again!
Jim
and the drummer is going " man please stop - my arms are falling off" !
OMG I don't know how anyone plays that guitar like that.
thanks for sharing
LOL
She is proudest when the old adage " silence is golden" comes in to play.
I actually now have a small room where I can play and record ,so it works out fine.
I think my guitar playing is improving slowly ..........- my singing - well probably never - but its just the way it goes. I'm never gonna be tall either
Thanks for giving it a look though.
Jim
its snowing so hard right now I can't see my neighbor's house 40 yards away NYS has just closed the interstate 88 we are in a statewide emergency
Classical -- ahhh yes that is the problem. These storms this time of year ------ Saturday is going to be 50 degrees and rain - guess what - MAJOR FLOODING will be next.
Only thing missing from these scenarios are locusts !
My house is forecasted for 30" tomorrow
yup - we are supposed to get a whole lot through Wednesday - when the forcasters say " paralyzing blizzard" - it's time to pay attention and prepare.
Well - it appears that I am about to get slammed with 18" of snow tonight and tomorrow. Amy ( couple hours North of me) is in it worse I think.
Every time this happens I can't help think to myself - why do I live here. It is -2 right now outside my house with the impending snow.
In addition, a neighboring village had their beautiful church burn down last night - those poor firefighters all night long battling in those sub zero temps to protect other buildings.
I am dreaming this morning of a beach with warm sand and gentle waves !
I found this one - hope it helps
I was headed fro the 70's too with Doby Gray's Drift away
Guess it'll have to wait til next round
I think that would be a great song for those at chordiestock to perform together.
TF oh God Yes - I remember ol' BM Chitlins - for those who don't - here ya go.
Disclaimer - no offense to anyone intended.
that ditto looper looks petty cool - just watched it on youtube.
