Hi, Arkady!

In addition to playing my 6 string, I am also a gamer (Warcraft), so I clicked on your link and listened through my SS headphones. Awesome, man! And I said so on my FB page. Hope to see/hear more of your work! smile

I guess I should have worded it better. No coffee  and no coffee women after 6pm. Wow!

Dino, who cares how you worded it, Buddy? It's a very interesting thread either way and I am enjoying reading it! smile

Thank you, my friend. I probably wouldn't last 10 seconds on The Gong Show, but my friends?

Even if my friends groaned like they were dying, you know that they know it came from the heart and that makes all the difference in the world.

So what am I trying to say (in a roundabout way)?

Be friends with your audience. Let them know what they are about to hear comes from your heart to theirs.

And that's 80% of what you're trying to do, right there. smile

....... for too long: I start writing weird stuff.....
=================================================================================

One from my memoirs....

When I was just a little shaver, my Dad realized I had some talent in the realm of music, so he bought me a violin. Only he called it a "fiddle". He liked Bluegrass and wanted his oldest son to play that "Hee-Haw !" music in the worst way.

Which is what I ended up doing. smile

I did my best, but unfortunately every time I drew the bow across the strings it sounded like someone trying his best to pass a football. Know what I mean?

Okay, enough "back story". Here's how it all ended:

I never did learn how to play the "violin" or the "fiddle".

So my Dad called me an "Infiddle". smile

=======================================================================

Was that one worth waiting for. my friends?

Our Senate here in GA just passed the legal weed law. Since I no longer drink, I'll wait for it.

Hmm. I've never smoked either, so I guess it will be brownies for me? smile

Did I miss a way to send these or is there not one?

There have been times when I have wanted to send some info I wouldn't want to share "live" to a couple of folks here, but couldn't find a way to do it.

Or maybe it's just me? wink

Thanks!

Thanks, TF,

Not speaking for NELA of course, but I tend to look at what's wrong with me in a humorous way. Tell me an Alzheimer's joke. I love 'em. Blog is the same way -- light hearted, pissed off sometimes, but never vulgar.

To NELA, Can I bring my guitar? Don't know when we'd make it over to your end. When it's convenient for you, of course and we'll have our own accomodations. I'd also like to see you perform, if that's possible -- you'd be my first Chordie member to visit or see live. smile

I'm the me I've always been. Just a bit forgetful these days.

Thanks for the song as well TF. smile

Heh-Heh! I think every red-blooded male can identify with those words, TF!

About the Odor-Eaters: I knew it was time to throw away my boots when I slipped the Odor Eaters in and they both began to throw up.

smile

I'm with dino. A song, please, Sir. Maybe some banjo? smile

Wondering why It's called a "Wilson". Maybe after Don Wilson of The Ventures who, if I'm correct made his own guitars patterned after the ones the group played in the 60's? Can we see the headstock, please, TF?

Thanks ,my friend!

Bill

PS: Just noticed you swapped the neck. I assume that means the headstock as well? Before you took it off, can you tell me if it had two notches cut in it?  Because if it does, it's Don's tribute to Mosrite, the now-defunct company which made the axes the group played and I'd like to buy it from you for my music room if it's for sale

Dang, NELA!

I didn't realize how much discomfort you're dealing with, but as I said above, I join with our friends in caring and sharing our concern about you!

I would like to meet you, but wouldn't want to intrude or visit at a bad time, so I'll leave it up to you.

I too have a lot of free time and I spend it on my computer, so if you ever need someone to talk to --- really talk ---- I'm here for ya', my friend.

Please take care of yourself! I don't have so many friends I can afford to do without one! smile

What a pretty Tele, Roger!!!

I agree with Zurf: She looks like she's made to play the blues!

Grats, my friend and I'd love to hear you make her moan! wink

Nothing but rain and in between unseasonably warm weather until today. The sun's out --finally. Sorry that you, my friends, are still having a tough time with the weather, but it won't be long till we're al singing the same song. smile

Well, dino

Thanks for that heads-up, my friend. My wife and I had been dreading buying Windows 8 because we'd heard so much bad stuff, so we're looking foward to the download to 10. I do understand it is for a year on a trial basis, and then you have to buy it or revert, is that correct, guys and ladyies? smile

Thanks

Absolutely, Dirty Ed. Condolences from both of us on Steve's passing.

If I may add this to your very well-written sentence?

And if you love 'em, tell 'em you love 'em and do it sooner, not later.

All the best, my friend.

NELA - we love ya.  Take care, pneumonia is bad stuff.

Thanks, Amy. I don't know of another site where anyone would say that to me.

And NELA, please take care of yourself! With all that's going on, here's one more friend who's concerned about you!

Thanks

Ya done good, my friend!
