You can do it Kap, I did.   I just put it out if my mind and chewed lots of gum and drink water lots.  At home when the craving came I picked up my guitar and that helped. I tell you after you start feeling better with more energy you'll say it was worth it to quit. And OH MY  food taste way better as well. Like the Nike commericial  "Just Do It". Good luck you can do it.

When I quit I made a list of pros and cons of smoking.Couldn't come up with any pros, the con list was long. The benifits of not smoking is huge.

Hi Old Doll, nice poem. The Bee accident happened in a place called St. Leonard , New Brunswick. The bees were on loan from Ontario to pollinate blueberry crops . Its such a bad thing to have this accident happen. What a job that would be to clean that up.

Martin Marquies light 20/80 bronze. I've tried others and like these the best. I've found the price has gone down a couple bucks since last year which is good.

I agree all of the guitarist you mention are or were great but I still maintain that the size of a persons hand or fingers dose not determin or limit there ability,I think I can pick a few licks even with my short stubby fingers im not placing myself with the guitarist you mention because I dont play there style I really dont put myself in any one catagory or genre and good or bad I will let my music speak for itself people either like it or they dont and thats true with any musician

I've have lots of footage of some great guitar players and the majority have large hands and long fingers, like  Buddy Guy, Albert Collins,Steve Ray Vaughn, George Benson, Jimi
Hendricks, Robbie Robertson, Clapton even has long fingers.
Then again Roy Clark's hands are not overly big and he can sure play.

two cents worth... Badeye  cool

I agree with you Russel, hand size does not matter, its the ability that one pocesses.

I smoked for 25 years and one day went cold turkey, 1 year amd 9 months smoke free. Got tired of the constant cough every morning.  I believe my acoustic guitar really helped me quit. Feel much better with more energy than ever.

As a kid I listened to an old coal mining friend of my dads play and sing at campfires and kitchen gatherings and always wanted to play old coal mining tunes. Started two years now and have a few mining tunes down . Love every
minute of the learning process.

The Dutch Mason blues fest in Truro, Nova Scotia, in mid August is a real good time. This years headliners are James Cotton, Matt Minglewood, Bonnie Rait, with local blues bands as well. Last year Buddy Guy played and all who attended got
a real good load of blues. At the Truro Harness Racing site with camping and facilities on site. Should be another blues adventure we shall not miss.

Woodstock 1994, what a great concert. We seen 33 bands
in three days of peace and music. It took me a week to recover, but all worth it. some of the bands were, The Allman
Brothers, Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Areosmith, Crosby Stills Nash, Collective Soul, Nine Inch Nails, Metalica, Cheryl Crow,
The Band, Greenday, Primus, Peter Gaberial, Cyprus Hill,
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blind Melon, The Cranberrys, Steve
Winwood and Ten Years After, Arron Neville, The Spin Doctors, Todd Rungrund. I must say that The Band with Levon Helm was my favorite of the weekend. We got lots of pictures and news papers About the concert and made a scrapbook to remember our musicial journey. I tell ya I'm getting older and would do it again in a heartbeat. Just can't
beat live music.

From a coal mining town called Glace Bay. I live in the Annapolis Valley on the mainland. Not many jobs in the Bay these days. Lots of people moved to Alberta where jobs are plentyful. I've found good employment here and love the country feel of rural Nova Scotia. P E I is a beautiful islland. Love going to harness racing in Charlottetown and the surrounding sea.
