Needs frets leveled?
Yep
Is it on all strings or just a few of 'em? Sounds like you have a bend or cant in the neck.....or maybe cut the saddle too deep, I guess.
Buz on First and second string straight edge on first fret touches again on the 14 fret and 15 dosent touch the 16th
checked truss rod?
Yes sir
Just did my first nut and bridge job And fresh strings it sounds good down to the 13th fret where it buzzes on the 14 and 15 frets then cleans up again the store I bought the guitar from said he fix that if I brought it in. But I don't think I'll ever play there any way. Thanks for all the help and ideas I've got from here
51 playing for 4months
I started playing the guitar in September and had I known I was going to luv it this much I would have bought one years a go. I'm getting much quicker on my cord changes I've been playing c am f d over and over I decided I wanted to play some of my favorite songs to night starting with turn the page man I like that song
Will the circle be unbroken man I was so proud had to sing the words so my wife knew what it was
It's amazing what advice you get from people you know. And how it's wrong most of the time. At least from you guys it's corrected be for the damage is done thanks
I had knee surgry in October and while I was recovering I thought I learn to play the guitar. So I went down to the pawn shop and bought a guitar. I didn't buy the cheapest one I bought the next step up a solid spruce top Kona. The strings are about 8th inch off first fret bar 3/16th off last fret I was wondering that when I restring if I could file down the plastic part that sets on my bridge to lower strings I have turned the bolt on the neck to where the strings buzzed then back it off till they guit I'm I on the right track or is that except able on string hight

So without looking it up, that's 1-b3-4-5-b7-(1), right? Regardless, I'm guessing that's MINOR pentatonic, because of the b3?
Yup. I just didn't want to confuse him as it appears he's just starting out.
and thank you for that
I'm wanting to play more then chords so I started practicing the pentatonic scale in A it says the notes are A C D E G but I'm playing 12 notes what Re the notes I'm playing starting on the fat string

I'm a child of the 60s but I was a red neck
RogerThe Beatles have staying power. Let`s see how many of todays singers(?) still get regular airplay or still come out with records long after they are gone. The same with Elvis.Lets see where these rappers will be 50 years later. We wont be around to see but I am willing to bet that I am right. Right fine art
I'm a child of the 60's but I was a red neck but the only thing worse than the Beatles is rap
I'm just glad we all have different tastes
