Just tune it to E A D G and you don't need that other funny string unless you want to experiment around and look cool. you can play it but at the fiddlyish bit at the end of the solo you need to do it all on one string, but it's possible.

it sounds suprisingly awesome, so have a go!

I hope you are speaking for yourself when you say people in britain because I am in britain and I would disagree with you.

so you could rephrase your reply by saying "I dont read questios properly"

that way you are not insulting every person in britain.

Alright, people in East Anglia then. Have to find a fault in everything, don't you?

It's a pointless website and the moderators hate me so I give up. You just can't win. I'm going to miss you...

Not. lol

Let's move away from that topic?! You're getting annoyed?!
Why start a dumb ass topic like this and then get annoyed when people reply to it?

I really hope you manage to make a career out of your interest and don't end up looking back and thinking, "Jeez, I really did sound like a total tosser when I was 13"

Sorry pal, I'm a grumpy old man and have forgotten what it's like to be 13 and weird.

If you don't like someone, then just ignore them. That's what I do now. Always remember that, won't you, it's a good and easy lesson.

if you really do believe in this pile of crap then go ahead, go do some ouiji boarding and let one f the participants move something and you will all believe it and rant o for ages about it to people that just simply do no believe you.
And so you should be sorry for ranting at anyone on here. You are relatively new to the forum and aleady you have had a few people talk abut you, and not in nice ways, so some advice ( even if you do not want it) s to think before you type. It is not hard to do. And having a pop at Roger is not the wisest thing as he is a moderator of several places on the forum.
So, remember paranormal, think first and we will all get along much better

hanx in advance

The SRV/Jimi thread got me thinking.  Whether you're playing it yourself or hearing it on the radio, what are some songs that make you automatically reach for the volume knob?

Oh sorry! I didn't read the question properly, it's a big problem in Britain, nobody reads the questions right.

Yes, that does help, Thankyou very much!

Hi there,

It's by Clapton, and it's my favourite piece of acoustic. It's very hard, and I'm not that good but I'm still hoping to learn it hmm . No, I'm not mad. Honest!

Thanks for your help.

Or, alternatively, if you don't help me, you don't get any thanks. I'm not being impolite I'm stating the obvious.

Some of mine are Classical Gas (which I hope to learn) by Eric Clapton, and Antonella's Birthday by Tommy Emannuel. I must have listened to Classical Gas about... 5 times today big_smile. I might listen to it again! Does anyone know any good music for it, I can't find anything good?

Thankyou for your replies, smile

Will

PS: yikes Wow, they just mentioned Eric Clapton on the radio! Weird.

Je ne parlez Francais, mais je joue au guitare.

Seriously, what does that mean, mon francais est tres mere. Is that a swear word? I hope not. Apologies if it is.

It doesn't matter why you started playing, what matters is why you are STILL playing. Obviously you're trying to accomplish something. You wanna be "cool", hey man go for it. If you play decent guitar, someone will end up wanting to be in a band with you. Until then practice, and don't be afraid to show people up. I started guitar for the same reason you did, when I moved to my new house I wanted to be accepted by the kids in my neighborhood, they loved rock ,and a couple played guitar. I started playing out on my front porch until finally they accepted me. After that I realized that I loved playing the guitar! Even now, it's one of the few things I've ever really been passionate about. Stick with it man, and one day when you end up on MTV you can scream at all those highschool losers who thought you were some weirdo witchcraft kid.

Now THAT'S good advice! Thankyou big_smile
