Thats the one, mine was made in 1977 and was a steal at 50 bucks canadian in a pawn shop.
appearently the owner had died and his widow got rid of all his old guitars the pawn shop way.

I remember that song, it was a number one hit in 1964. Anne Murray did a remake of it in the late 70's, as I grab my guitar and look it up to give it a go. good song of the day.

Hi Badeye ... I got an old Ibanez copy of a humming bird over 30 yrs old like yours
sounds real deep and sweet...they only made them for a short time as
Gibson filed a law suit on them...
Hi Flatpicker, I looked for info on this Hondo, and Gibson also had a dispute with said company and bought em out because Hondo was giving them real good competition in the acoustic field. I must say it plays with such ease and the sound is very mellow. The neck is very thick but one adjusts to it.

Ah the mystery is out and honesty is the best policy. Kinda liked the blue tho. I know this song was posted before but self-promotion is not all bad. If you look at the chords they are
the same as the tune "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" I just changed the melody a bit which
is ok to do I think. Thanks for the feedback...
