I had a friend who was an exec producer. She got stiffed on a guest and needed a couple of fill ins, and they had to be brothers...so me and my brother went on the show with a very complicated (albeit elaborated upon) story that was, well....let's just say it profoundly stretched the truth.
But I did get to push Steve out of the way and beat the shit out of my brother on stage. That was pretty cool.
He was living on the west coast at the time so he got a free flight home and great lodging for 3 days.
There's just something awesome about english bullies.
the amazing slow downer is awesome and integrates with your itunes library.
oh you can't upload? that sucks. I'll just post it to my blog and link it out then.
I actually didn't do the 335, just a concert poster. Long story on that.
yeah it did and I had to sleep in after! Then we went and rescued two kittens - will upload pics in the am.
Of me, BB King, AND the bonus kittens.
I was a guest on the Jerry Springer show. It was a riot. Literally.
My wife is going to take so many pictures we'll put the old man at risk of a seizure.
One of my buddies, who has some connections in the entertainment scene here in Vegas, got me a meet and greet tomorrow night with none other than...
B.B. KING!!!!!!!!

Theres also nashville tuning, where you put all high e or high b strings on your guitar and tune it like normal so all the notes sounds in the same octave...

Roger I frequently get low loads on chordie, as well, and I'm on a very fast internet connection.
That's just an altered chord yeah?
Also, take chord changes out of the equation........just play the first chord and sing that part over and over until you memorize it, then second chord....I call it "chunkifying."

I used to have HORRIBLE nerves...nausea, vomiting, the whole nine yards. Not so much when I was just playing guitar in jazz band or whatever, more when I was singing lead and playing.
Repetition got me more comfortable with it (as did a pre show shot of Jameson's). I still get nerves but they are good now - excitement rather than anxiety.
Whatever you do, avoid Claude Johnson.
Fundamental theorem of Chordie: zguitar + Zurf = perfect answer.
too soft. too grabby.
Toots,
These dogs are really trained to only go after the sleeves and collars. Fortunately.
Yeah I guess that's true!
The wife and I are big dog rescuers. We have 5 at the moment. Our trainer owns a company in Las Vegas called Sin City K9. In addition to being the best Las Vegas dog trainer, the owner is in to Mondio, a protection sport.
I volunteered to be a decoy - the guy that gets bit. Man is it FUN, and what an adrenaline rush. Just have to remember to keep my hands out of the way!
Here's a video....doesn't look that intense, but knowing you're about to be bit by a 60 pound malinois is a pretty intimidating experience:

Doesn't it become more of a pain with chromatic passing tones and whatnot?
