wow... I'm listening now, but how in the world will you manage to make it through singing this song?  The words are quite powerful, and especially to be singing at such an event... sigh... I don't think I'd be able to sing the song without totally losing it.  I am like you mtfalcon, I can sing the heck out of stuff but I'm far from "good" at guitar.

I think for iPads the print function was either moved to the bottom of the page, or temporarily removed (along with the auto scroll).  You absolutely can still print if you are viewing the site on a computer (or if you have the ability to view the webpage without the iPad version of the site - I know I can do that on my android phone, but I'm not sure if you can on an iPad).

Yeah Dino - don't worry about being able to sing.  My son and husband like to join in sometimes and they are so nervous singing in front of people that they don't sound too hot either (although they do both have decent voices).  Besides, what I can do with my voice I cannnot with my guitar!  I've learned that if I just sing loud, people ignore the guitar.  So go ahead and join us and play the guitar louder! 

No problemo... I will be on and playing my guitar.  If anyone wants to join me great, if not... then the kids will enjoy it    I'll figure most will proabbly show up closer to 1 or 3, which is a-ok --- I have to work at 5EST so I won't be around later on when Roger is available.    I just figure, have it open most of the day and see where it leads as this was very last minute today.

well, I did a google search to no avail.  If you have a link to the song, perhaps another of the members can take a listen and figure it out for you.  I'm very sorry to hear of your friends passing.  What an honor to have been asked in advance to play a song for her.

Well Toots... I will be sending out the webcam first thing Monday... so hopefully you can get your video rolling for a jam next week.  I will throw my old computer mic in the package too.  It's nothing special, but honestly Jeff and I just use our built in laptop mics for the jam usually and I know I can hear him well enough and the guys seem to be able to hear me just fine as well. 

I'm sorry I missed you guys.  The hubster was doing a tattoo on a lady's back - right up until my start time for work.  On top of that, the kids had drained my laptop battery during the morning playing on nick.com.    I'm already paying for a Skype basic unlimited calling at $3/month.  I belive the premium includes that calling feature as well as the video confrencing and some other perks - so I am quite tempted to purchase it as well!  It's well worth the extra couple dollars!  I don't have people to Jam with arond here, and being able to see all you guys and and listen, as well as be given challenges is encouraging me to play more!

Welll.... as the wife, the last time HE bought one it was, "Yes honey, you do NEED a new guitar.  I feel bad that you're using that piece of junk and I've gotten two.  So go get one."  I tried to encourage him to get one I would like, but it didn't work out that way.  And of course, NOW it means that I need a new guitar.  And his response is, "I wish we had the money so I could get you that Martin you love".  It WILL BE MINE and he won't mind!  It's just a matter of finances.  So guys... you just have to get her to fall in love with the guitars and then it won't be such an issue! 

well, using the capo is going to just raise it up, not lower it down.... but... if the songs are here on chordie there is a transpose -1 feature. 

If we don't get any other answers from more established players within the next day, I will probably move this to the acoustic section for you as there's a bit more traffic there.

Paul, some camcorders can handle it, some cannot.  Go to the manufacturers website and see if you can find drivers (yes, that's all that you should need).  I did a general search for Toots and found there are others that have attempted to use the same camera for the same purpose.  I'll bet the same is true for your camera as well.  So a search like that may help.  "how to *name of camera* webcam"  Good luck!
