Remember when one could get into a movie theatre with the coupon on the top of the Red Rose Tea box and just 15 cents, with a quarter allowance,[25 cents] that left 10 cents for a Double Cola and a bag chock full of candy on the walk home. Those days were great.
Getting an orange in your Xmas sock. Oranges were rare in Cape Breton. what a treat.

I do alot of remodling around the house and I love to wrench on the car. Two things that tear your hands apart. Right now I'm doing drywall. I dont know if you guys(or gals:)) have ever used drywall screws, but they wreck havoc on your fingers. I love to cook as well and as you all may know knifes are never a good thing for a guitar player to be messing around with.
Yes. drywall screws will leave little shards of metal in your finger tips. I drywalled an apartment
building and my fingers were peppered with metal.

Hi Jets,
I used table saws, band saws, skill saws, and routers which can wreck havoc on your hands if
you not catious. Luckly after twenty or so years I still have all my digits. I really started to be
more careful when I started playing guitar, also handling lumber, splinters can do damage as well.
Badeye..
Since you didn't buy that big old bass guitar, the twelve is in order. I say go for it.

The Lemming family were out for a sunday drive. Mom and Dad Lemming in the front, all the
kid Lemmings in the back. The kid start to act up, Dad Lemming turns and says, " If you kids

Hi Phil, here in Canada ice hockey is our big sport, oh and I stood on the ice pond that the very first hockey was played in 1887 in Windsor, Nova Scotia . In the USA football, baseball,
and basketball are huge. not sure which one is tops. Seems college football is biggest af all.
Nascar racing is also very big in the USA, some races attract a quarter of a million people
which must generate millions of dollars on race day. For me its hockey, the speed, hits, goals,
team work.
hope you have a good day... Badeye
A blond and brunett were walking down the street, the brunette said "Oh look at the dead bird"

Finally got to see Neil Young live, good show but I've seen other big names that put on a bigger performence. Seem his band mates were packed into there own little spot not having any spotlite at all. The third song in Neil stopped after a few notes to a song and had a little bit of a riff with the drummer, seems he was cranky is the way I seen it, thought for a minute the crowd were going to boo, but the song started again. After a few more songs the band took a break and Neil played solo on his acoustic, when the band came back I thought it was a different drummer but can't be sure. All in all it was a good show.
Next day in the city we went to a bar called My Father's Moustashe, and had front row seats to see Joe Murphy and The Water Street Blues Band who play great Cajun blues and also a set of Sonny Boy Williamson's songs. These guys have been playing blues around Nova Scotia for some 35 years and are truly seasoned pro's. On the way from the city at 10 at nite we stopped in a bar in Windsor to see our local classic rock band Spare Parts ply their trade. It
was a live music weekend for us but thats what we like to do.
Still rockin in the free world, :cool Badeye.
