Hi Joe and welcome to chordie. Here is a link to a similar model# Crate - a #CR 280 (it may actually be the same amp, just a different model #)

http://www.crateamps.com/pdf/manuals/CR280_OM.pdf

Page 3 of the manual explains the intended use of the "ODB" vs. the -6DB inputs.

OK - A little more than 5 months and 33,845 miles, it seems the package has truly made it 'round the world! Here's a snapshot of the updated map (don't know how I fudged it up)

And here's a link to the actual map on google.

Doll - I plopped your placemark in Dublin as I am not sure of your actual town. If there is a better location and any info you would like added, just let me know.

Thanks to everyone for participating in this so far. Let's keep it going!

Cam - I hate to hear that buddy, believe me I've been there. If there is anything I can do to help, just say the word. If you don't mind me asking, what hospital are you at? My wife works at Forsyth in the Radiation dept.

If I can run some errands for you, or pick you up for the jam, anything at all just let me know.

Jeff

Congrats Pix - I hope the Yairi is better than you are hoping for and I can't wait to see and hear it first hand! So, hell yea I'm in for a jam and will be happy to host. I'm also happy to travel if Cam would prefer and of course any other chordians are welcome to join!

Hi MKM - I believe you are finger picking, so I'll give you an idea in that direction. There are other methods that you could use if strumming with a pick (i.e. palm muting).

Check out this Adam Rafferty rendition of Superstition:

OK - so last week I went 2-0 on Saturday and 0-2 on Sunday. I hadn't seen Baltimore play all year and the certainly looked impressive. And Kurt Warner was amazing in a "where did the defense go" game. Warner had more touchdown passes than incompletions - quite impressive.

So this weeks games are:

Arizona vs New Orleans

Baltimore vs Indianapolis

Dallas vs Minnesota

NY Jets vs San Diego

I'm going straight "C's" this weekend. Cardinals, Colts, Cowboys and Chargers

For those interested in donations to the Haiti Earthquake relief effort, I encourage you check out Wyclef Jean'c charitable organization Yéle Haiti. 100% of donations to this charity will go towards earthquake relief as opposed to some organizations that are top heavy with overhead. Linkage:

so thats my story and by the way my gibson will be a whopping 100 years old this year... so now you understand why i was told i need a new guitar lol

leeshay - In case you didn't know, that "old gibson" could be extremely valuable - possibly in the 10s of thousands of dollars range. Do you have a model or serial number? Also, I would love to see a pic of your old gibby if you can post one.

bensonp - Only Per (the site owner, head admin, webmaster guru) can add songs. However, anybody can request songs via the link provided in my above post. It won't happen immediately, but I have requested songs in the past that eventually got added.

Hi Kt and welcome to chordie. It is not possible to import songs that are not already indexed on chordie into your songbook, nor is there a way to enter it manually. However, if the song is available elsewhere on the internet, you can request that it be added to chordie by completing the form found here:

http://www.chordie.com/addurl.php

Now - what you have done here is considered "high-jacking" someones thread as your question is not at all relevant to the Original Posters issue. In the future, if you have a new question, please start your own thread.

Not fer nuthin, but this thread would be a lot easier to follow if participants listed the name of the song in the post!

For me, YouTube sometimes takes forever to load.  To keep switching from this discussion board to YouTube.com for every single post takes way too long.  How 'bout it, folks????

PapaTom - A little computer trick you might find handy. If you hold the Ctrl key while clicking the link, it will open the link as a new tab and still keep chordie open and running. That way you can still browse the forum while the video loads.

Probably not an Oldie but goodie in that sense......

Not an Oldie??? LOL that song was released before I was born, and I am an official member of the chordie old farts club. :lol. Ask my kids, Zeppelin songs are "Oldies", The Beatles are "Ancient".

OK - my oldie contribution - one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Love the sax and strings.

Hi toni - I have searched for chords (as I am sure many others have) without any luck. Here are the lyrics:

And here is a youtube of the song if somebody can possibly help identify the chords.

Please refrain from posting multiple requests in the future. This is the 3rd request in under a week for the same song.

OK folks - the playoffs are finally here. Who are your teams and who do you like this weekend? It seems to me the playoff pool is more evenly matched than in recent years, with no real dominant team.

I have been a lifelong Cowboy's fan and they seem to be peaking at the right moment. That said, the next big game that Romo and company win will be the first big game they've ever won. I also like the Chargers because Rivers went to my alma mater. A Cowboys vs Chargers Super Bowl would be fantastic for me.

This weekend's games and my picks:

NY Jets vs Cincinnati....... NY

Philadelphia vs Dallas..... DALLAS!

Baltimore     vs New England... NE

Green Bay vs Arizona.......... GB
