I was fishing some years ago in the west of Ireland,

I stood and watched a Kingfisher swooping and diving, God, He was the loveliest sight.

The finest  most colourful " Clobber" { clothes/ Feathers} ive yet to see on a human.

Simply splendid.

I often wonder whats in there Poo? as its so hard to remove the stains from whites.

A small price to pay for such splendour.

Fly on Cool Daddy. lol

Wonderful Newbie,

Lovely images reading your song.
My Pops, or Cochise as we secretly called him lived to be nearly 100.
He was a small man, deep deep voice. Had a big White droopy moustache,
always smoked a big ole pipe. To this day i love the smell of yachtmans
plug tabacco, always reminds me of him.
He just went to sleep one night, and died with his cap on. He firmly believed we lost most of our body heat from our heads? so in winter kept it on lol

Lovely song "Thanks for the Memories."
Roger, What a great image you gave us also.

Hi Badeye/Ark,

Im finally getting back to this one.

Well first of all, you must use ESSENTIAL OIL. None of the cheap stuff often sold as essential. You will purchase this in A health Store.

For black spot /leaf mould/ or any leaf problem Mix a few Drops of tee tree
oil with water and spray.  If you have a lot to spray, then make a gallon up with 20 drops of tee tree added to water.. If you also have greenfly then add
some drops of Lemongrass OR Lemon essential oil. All kinds of insects and mice hate this stuff.
To revive a wilting plant, feed with a mix of water and some eucalyptus
added. Gives a plant new vigor.

Then you do as i do , sit in the garden {weather Permitting} and play your guitar. lol

Happy Gardening.

Great song James,

Great lyrics as usual. Love Daffs. I have lots also at the moment. Also grew some minatures this year in pots. How something so fragile can grow and survive in this cold weather is always a mystery to me.

"I wondered lonely as a Cloud" Wordsworth, always one of my favourite pieces of poetry.

I love the way you combined the two, History lesson and song.

I did know a lot who only knew this life.. Yes! Men and woman break more then each others hearts.
I could smell the smoke/ whiskey and anger in these lyrics..

So well written.

Well Marcalan,

I had heard the Melody, as its on my profile page at myspace. Its Lovely.
The lyrics are wonderful.  Thank You" Im very flattered also with your dedication of love on the www.. Wow.
Love in abundance to you also Kind Sir. I now will learn  the lyrics and  sing them.

There is a lovely Greek word temenos, which originally referred to the grounds surrounding a temple. It means the sacred place or section of holy ground that we must cross to enter into the temple. Rightly understood, our senses are a temenos that separates us from the spiritual world. Our senses function as a moat does to protect a castle from those that would enter without permission.
I would also like to say, After many sad Valentines days over many years, Marcalan sent me the most beautiful hand made silver torque/ bracelet with 2 red jasper stones inserts. He also asked me to be his Valentine. Such a divine intervention in my life. I cried with joy that some one would think me worthy.
We have gotten to know one another very well over time with talking and
writing. He is a absolute joy to have as "My Anam Cara" { Soul Mate} and has managed to melt this Old Dolls heart.
Much Love to you Precious Man.

Welcome to my world Marcalan, Gracious Thanks.

Old Doll.
