Nice picture. UJB. smile

Yesterday I read about the third base coach who lost his team's chance at the LL World Series, by making bodily contact as his player rounded third base and headed for home after a denied time out for the other team. How far had these boys come?
. Was it Semi-Finals?

Thanks

Our friend RickyJack just brought up something we've discussed before: possibly copyright infringement.

I am about 80% sure I can get us a volunteer lawyer to help us with that, but I believe the first thing we have to decide is where the final product will be released?

If here in the good ol' USA, I can handle it; if across the pond, it becomes Her Majesty's problem. And as we all knowhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tzb5QABCmak

This is, of course predicated on who and where our producer resides, yes?

I know ---- it can get complicated, this musicating ----- but if we all work together in committees the work will be much easier https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk_-XWpUFmU

I put this here because I could find a better place, so if it needs moving, please do it for me, mods? Thanks

==============================================

Okay, what I wanted to write about is the following:

I have lost count of how many Youtube/Soundcloud recordings I have listened to, but in more than just a few I've noticed y'all running out of breath and throwing that little "gasp" in there before the next verse. wink

I'm sure you know that's not cool. Thus having for 17 years worked as a respiratory therapist plus having taught breathing to COPD patients, I'm going to put on my therapists cap (much like a nurses' cap, only different: https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ_Uh8g_IVzcw8rubqj9IG33cdUHckubJ0Q6i4femkRaiJ0zWmS  and link y'all to a guy on YT who shows us all some nice exercises for singers here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJzflvDTWno.

Think of diaphragmatic exercises as Kegels just a little higher up.

What?

You don't think all I do is just sit here do ya? Gotta work that ol' sphincter muscle too, boys and girls. That's the one you'll need before stepping onstage. big_smile big_smile big_smile

Thanks, TF. Something  about that name kept trying to get through my brain so now I know what it was. smile I was in broadcasting during that time and all of us had a thing going about Lech's last name; namely, so to speak, how to pronounce it.

We finally laid it on our producer who butchered it even worse and then I happened on a friend who was Polish and asked him how to pronounce it. Well, he put that "n'" in there and that's what everyone went with, on our station. The others were still struggling.

Did I mention, I used my Polish friend to win a staged bet on the name? I was praying my friend got it right and he did. $50.00 USD went into the pockets of the German Boy, after Peter Jennings used the pronounciation that same night.

Hey! Where'd y'all get the impression I was squeaky clean!???? smile

Thanks, my friend!

Grats, my friend! Well, we have "The Kaiser", Ollie Kahn and Bastian Schweinsteiger (lord what a name), whom I consider three of  my favorite
players, two goalies and one midfielder, not all playing in present time, of course. smile

Thanks for putting up my crest for me, valued friend!

[singing] "One Rudi Voeller, there's only one Rudi Voeller. One Rudi Voeoeoeoeoller. There's only one Rudy Voeller.[/singing]. The tune that is used as the base is "Guantanamera" (Spanish for "Hey, lady! Don't slip on that banana pe---------!") .

Roger makes a very good point Bill, no one deserves the title more than you.

What do I do here, Roger? Wait for the concensus and the vote count? big_smile. If I may say so without appearing to be narcissistic, I know y'all care about me (and especially Dondra. Your recent shows of affection did much to help her to feel better and she is now happily working again 2 days a week).

I just wanted you all to know that such love and caring will not be forgotten, so to me y'all should be bestowed with the title. I know it's just in fun and I don't mean to make a mountain out of a molehill - just wanted you all to know how I felt.

I'm not a prima donna, so why don't I just say, "Thanks very much for the honor and let's get back to 'musicating'." Would that work?

Thanks for the honor!

Here's some honesty for ya, Peter.... when I can go to your site and watch and listen to your music, my friend.

That is pure and that is honest.

And I've already told you what I fan I am of your music and your performances, so the "basking" takes care of itself  every  time I hit that subscribe button.

I don't need a fancy title to declare my self a fan of yours, or anyone else's here, friend

And as for being loved, that comes through every time you or anyone  writes me. I have never felt so loved as I do here.

I thank you all most humbly

"Musicator" is fine with me, because this is what we all are when you think about it.

The "extraordinaire" part is an appendage which is dearly precious to me, because I know who it came from (I think).

Y'all know how I feel about all of you and there's no need to "supersize" it.

If the person who included that feels that way about me in his heart, that's enough for "The German Boy".

Thanking you VERY much for the fun honorific, I'm just plain.....

It appears a new title has been bestowed upon me: "Musicator Extraordinaire".

I thank you very much for this honorific, but feel I am undeserving of it for the following reasons:

1. It's Y'all who honor me be allowing me to come to this site and interact with some of the friendliest musicators on the planet.

2. I feel that you, my friends, understand my limitations and are always there to lend me a hand when I need it, and

3. I get to hear some of the most wonderful and original music from all over the world.

So you see, my dear friends, it isn't me who is extraordinary, it is you and this little musical home we have created for each other.

Virtually, a "Hobbit's Shire Home" couldn't be more comfortable.

Thanks so much, but may I respectfully turn down this wonderful, but undeserving gift?

Thanks

Just a rumor, friend o' mine, but I heard if you don't musicate for three days in a row, that might happen within the system. big_smile big_smile big_smile

In case I never told you, that sig line of yours ROCKS!

topdown,

We'll have to see healthwise how things go. I had forgotten you and your association with past get-togethers, so here's yet another venue for us to consider. Closer to the shrimp, too! big_smile

Bill

PS: I meant to add that at least at Madeira we'd have something to see, wouldn't we? Here it's basically just Civil War stuff, The Coca Cola Museum and road kill. big_smile : D: D

Ol Billy-Bob (me) kinda hogged all the message space, didn't I? I'm sorry about that. It looked like some of you did get my messages and I hope that those which did make it where taken in the spirit intended - just to say hello - and kid around a bit.

And Mr. unclejoesband?

As delicious as those cookies looked, I'd still rather take my chances with the bowling ball.

LOL!!!!

There are so many of you whom I would like to join onstage and musicate with. Not neccesarily to sing or  drum with, but just to stand there with my Takamine and play along. I wouldn't ask to plug in - just be a part of the excitement - standing up there with y'all.

I go and take a look at Peter's YT videos and I get the feeling the man sits there and won't stop until we are watching his best.

And that's why I (brotherly) love my friend Peter Benson.

Bravo, Peter

I left a comment on The Cloud, Graham, but would you want this on our cd?
