Nice job, I like it. I think it comes from a place where most of us have been at least once. Would like to hear your version of it!

Re: What was your first song? (173 replies, posted in Acoustic)
It was 1977 and the first one I could play all the way through was Sloop John B by the Beach Boys. Played on a Kent acoustic. I didn't really care too much for the Beach Boys back then. But a pretty girl down the street did!

Thanks for taking the time to help me Doug. I have seen and heard so many very very talented people on this site. It has inspired me to try and contribute if I can. I don't consider myself a great player at all. Just looking to get some feedback pro and con to grow and move forward on this guitar journey.
As said in my original post,I am not very computer literate but I'm up for the challenge! I'll use your great advice Doug and sign up on reverbnation and go from there. Thanks again for your help!

Could use a little help with posting some of my cover songs here on Chordie. I'm not too computer savy and have lost more than a few brain cells along the way. I use a tascam DP-03 to record and use a galaxy 3 tablet to post. Is there something else I will need? I have never done anything like this befoe. Can someone please give me a step by step on how to get this done?
Thanks
Dave

That was really good. You are a fantastic songwriter, player and singer. As topdown said, I would pay to see you. Your song touched me and there can be no greater compliment when your music can do that. My hat's off to you sir.

First time here on what I think is the best guitar site anywhere. I have been playing guitar on and off thirty plus years (mostly on the last few). There is alot of very talented people here I would love to learn from and share with.I'm fifty seven years young, have a few guitars and a modest studio set up. I do solo acoustic gigs now and then and have a blast! Pretty much just a hummer and strummer, hence my name. But working on some scales and always trying to improve. Looking forward to being part of the Chorde group!
