I have just challenge my self to go up and play an open mike this summer at Dornans it is in moose wy under the Tetons out doors. That gives me a good 5 months to polish up a few songs. I'm playing turn the page and Summer wine right now and I'm getting pretty smooth with the cord changes. I never thought that 4.5 months in to playing I would even be thinking this way I have learned so much from you guys

Why is there no note count and and no beat  count on guitar tabs you tube helps with timing. I have s hard time with this whole theory thing but I don't want set in shone guidelines either

I've been here a month know gotten tons of advise and it's all been good I'm a 51 year old 4 h live stock leader I'm a drawing artist I'm learning guitars I live in Jackson wy. And to pay the bills I'm a master plumber I own 2 guitars acoustic and electric been learning since September. Hunter fisherman own 2 horses  whew I'm busy.

Talk with a PT I need to ice massage my wrist and do more hand stretches so I'm going to work on memorizing the notes on the fret board and take it easy on the wrist for a bit. I've desided that I'm wanting to play guitar solos so I'm going to have to get this theory stuff down whish me luck I'm only a C student

I'm learning both guitars bar chords are much easer on the electric and then I try them on my acoustic I like both guitars

It's much Easyer for me to sing and play then to play and sing like ghost riders in the sky the sole guitar parts I have to sing
