Zurf,  I don't know your system and I'd probably do the same things you are doing. Here's my 2 cents.
Try switching inputs to see if the guitar works in the mic input.
You have sound coming out the speakers so try matching all the settings on both inputs.
Check cables , phantom power switch  -some need to be on/some off.

Let us know if you get it. Maybe we don't know the system but your trouble shooting process could help us with a future problem.  Good Luck.

Bill, Very interesting . I love this story line. The truth may be way more interesting than what you could make up. Add in the mystery of the money and you have a great song in the works. One of my best songs turned out to be based in truths I didn't know until after it was written and played for one of the people in the song. Enjoy the search for the truth about the money. Even if you don't find any wrong doing I think you are going to have fun investigating.
Keep us posted on your investigation and I can't wait to hear the song.

Great sound. I agree with the other comments. Graham, your voice has a tone that reminded me of Harry Chapin.

Congrats on the new amp Russell. A few years ago I heard a group playing thru Marshalls with Fender Squire guitars. The sound was amazing, the guitars just rang. I asked them later if they did any changes to the guitars, they said No they were stock Squires. Enjoy yours Russell.

Joe, I have a 1999 Martin D-35, 2010 Martin D-41 ,Taylor 2007 314,Taylor 2005 T5 and I love them all. I've played the newer Martin DCPA models and lower models . I don't like them either. I think with Martin you need the D-28 model or higher to get the best of the Martin sounds and feel that you are looking for. One exception is the Mahogony models like the D15 or D-18. Just my opinion as a Martin owner. I Love the Taylors in most every model. I got the 314 for a different sound and Like it very much. Strings and usage can change tone, as well as woods used. My D-35 gets a lot of use and I've noticed some very nice tone changes over the years. So I don't want to add to your confusion but try some of the Martins in the groups I mentioned they may change your opinion.

B.B. King, Rest In Peace.  The Blues has a reason to be sad today.

I've had it done to my Martin D-35 and my D-41 no problems. But they were done by experts who know the correct place to install them . Sounds like you'll be in good hands with the shop you chose. Go for it.

As Copy Guitars GO some may have real Serial #'s and identical looks and Logo's. So in this case, the only way to actually tell if she had a real Martin is to get it to the Martin Factory and have it verified as a true Martin. Or at least have a credible witness verify it's not a copy. That was not asked , the only evidence is the paper work both sides had. I'm not siding with the buyer ,she sunk her own ship. If she would have had the guitar verified as a real or fake before her court appearance she could have saved herself some embarrassment. There are lot's of good copies out there the average person cannot detect. Beware.

I've written quite a few songs and found all these comments are true to all of my songs. Some fly onto the paper and others are painstakingly crafted to my satisfaction. I envy all of you who can sit down and create a work of art in one sitting as I've only done that a few times. And I also have pages of unfinished songs and future lines to use. It's all about the creative spirit that comes about to put these sweet tales together. I love the whole process anyway.I think it shows there is no set rules for writing a song. It's what ever process it takes as long as you finish it some time, and share it. It's all about sharing it, hoping someone will connect with the idea.
Ed, since you wrote the songs you are to preform you can tell the stories better than anyone. If you had the passion to write them I think that passion will carry thru the performance too. Enjoy the experience and just have fun.
To all the rest keep writing, enjoy that experience.

I gig regularly with a friend, we both use an original Bose PS1 L1. Two weeks ago for some reason we lost both systems at the same time. We both use a mixer and run from mixers to each others system to sync them together. The wired thing is we lost no other parts of our system not the mixer or pedals and no tripping the surge protectors.
We both called Bose and they had no real thoughts other power surge, and that The L1 model did not get the life span they expected.
Since the original L1 model cannot be serviced anymore they offered to replace it with the newest model at half price. With any additional pieces for the same deal at this time.
If you had the original PS1 model 1 and it won't power up call Bose service center and they can tell you if you qualify for this deal. My friend bought his unit used ,mine was bought new. This helped take some of the sting out of replacing a costly unit.

I like your set list. Fallin and Flyin, Cortez and Tulsa Time are in my set list.  How about a Johnny Cash or Merle Haggard song. They work well for me anywhere I play.
I 've seen a video or two of yours ,I think you'll do well with your list. Just have fun and the crowd will too.
