UK here and it's got to be hot, strong, "Yorkshire" tea for me.

The night of my life was back in the early 80's. We had a booking at a place called the Tunnel Club in South East London, Albert Lee turned up and jammed with us, we did an instrumental version of Country Boy at the time and playing it with the man was incredible. I'll never forget it, I know Albert doesn't remember it as I've met him a few times since and mentioned it but then why would he?!?!?
Jerry
Great pics Amy, thanks for posting.
Jerry
I have enough trouble with 6 strings! Sounds cool though.
Jerry
Nope, you're not alone, there are a few of us hanging around.
Jerry
I'm the same, Ernie Ball regular slinky's for me which are 10's, 8's are way too small.

Hi Joey
Without meaning to sound condescending, have you actually asked anybody what's going on and explained your thoughts and feelings to them? I think it might be a step in the right direction.

We have an adorable little cat called Izzy who was a rescue cat when I got her from the cats protection league about 6 years ago. She doesn't have a bad bone in her body and is so affectionate. We've also got 6 chickens and more eggs than we can eat so the neighbours don't have to buy them either and we seem to live on omelette's!
Jerry
Mine's just about the same as Pete's but I'd add in Albert Lee and Emmylou Harris as well.
Good list Pete

People seem to think I'm a pretty decent player, I'll play rhythm on pretty much anything and I'm more than happy to play lead but after nearly 30 years of trying I still can't play all the lead on Country Boy as Albert plays it.

What type of Fender? Bridge out of adjustment? Old strings? Neck straight?
Need more info really but taking it along to a good luthier and spending a few quid to get it properly set up will usually work wonders with Fenders. They're rarely as bad as a lot of people seem to think they are.

Hi S-R, I've got both, a Stihl with a 14" bar for light work and a Husqavarna with a 24" bar for the bigger stuff. Both brands are quality saws but I've found that Stihls stay easier to start as they get older! Don't forget your safety gear, as papaguitar said, "those things can bite!"

I suppose it depends how you ride and the type of roads you're riding on, too much banging it around ain't gonna do it any good. I ride a BMW R1200RT but I wouldn't dream of taking my guitars on it due it interfering with my control of the bike but it's your life.

Well I've got a Telecaster signed by my favourite picker, the legendary Albert Lee. I know it's the real deal as it was me that asked him to sign it and I've got a great piccie of me and Albert that was taken on the night by the lovely Mrs Buzzwagon.
We're off to see him again with his band Hogans Heroes on Thursday. Can't wait but first we have the small matter of a trackday on the bikes at Cadwell Park on Wednesday. Good week for me then!!

As well as Youtube I use Spotify which is superb.

Confession Time!!
A few years ago and in another life my ex wife, Dawn, and her mate, Bridget, loved Eurovision and one boozy saturday night, after a crate of beer, me and Bridgets husband agreed to go to the next Eurovision which was being held in Estonia.
Much against my better judgement we went and in all fairness had a great time. The music aside, the whole thing is just a huge European party, with a largely gay and cross dresser following, which, although I'm neither just added to the laughs. When we arrived in Tallinn, HMS Chatham was in port showing the flag and we ended on the lash with some of the boys from the ship. The following day we got a private tour of the ship which was pretty cool.
Can't remember how the UK got on but we did end up having a pre show beer with the legend that is Terry Wogan and finished up at the Irish after show party, (something not to be missed!)
Overall for the music it's a complete waste of time but as a party it's a corker!!

We've got a few in this part of the world, Ronnie Wood lives in Sussex too, Eric Clapton's just up the road at Ewhurst, Bill Nighy, (the actor), is also a local boy. Clapton brings his cricket team out every year and plays a match against Cranleigh and does his tour warm ups / rehearsals, (unannounced of course), in Cranleigh village hall!
Jerry
Only too happy to help, I'm glad it's worked out for you.

Hopefully not another gold digger. Heather Mills thought that she could appeal to the country over here when she and PM divorced, big mistake. Macca's like royalty in the UK, the man can do no wrong.

Happy Birthday Rog, have a good one

Living in the temperate South East of England I have a Strat, a Tele and an Epiphone Wildkat on the wall about 8 feet away, with an amp tucked under my desk, my Ovation on a stand about 15 feet away and the Guild leant up against the piano about 8 feet away. None of them more than about 6 steps from the sofa!

A gypsy wedding at a pub in Gravesend about 30 years ago. It was chaos and they didn't want us to stop!
Jerry
Well I'm loving it. Makes you proud to be British.

Hi Starr
If you put stuff like this in Song Requests you'll likely get a quicker response, but here you go:
