Yeah that was with the Jimi Hendrix Experience... when he played guitar with Lil Richard's band he played right-handed. And the teeth-playing was definitely crazy

Oh I see now, I thought you were talking about the huge search bar.... thanks. LOL wish I would've been using that for a while

I'm not completely positive, but I don't think Hendrix was a lefty. I've heard that he was ambidexterous, although I know he played the guitar left handed with the Experience, he played right-handed with Little Richard... and I'm thinking he used to even write right-handed

No I mean for the forums, not for chords and tabs.

Anyone know the name of the song sang in Walk the Line by Shooter Jennings (playing Waylon Jennings) when he and Cash are in the apartment? It goes along the lines of "I'm a long way from home". Thanks.

I think it would be a helpful feature to add a search bar to the forums. This would make it easier to find topics of interest and also to keep people from posting the same topics 30 times.... just a suggestion.

Also does anyone know where I can find some scale diagrams? Thanks.

Lyrics are generally not hard to find.

What I would like is a filter that lets me weed out tab, and leave only chords, and vice versa.

Sounds like a useful feature right there

I'd give anything to see Hendrix, Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd

I was convinced that I wrote this too. The fact he died young and in strange circumstances. See Cobain. You know, I have a big smile now, that I ask myself if there is not a kind of "conspiracy" theory, because "dead people rock, and sell up to 3 times as much when they are dead.
It happened with Elvis, it happened with Morisson (JIM). It is strange to see how all, I mean a lot of people run to the record store to buy all their records, and sad to see how they are squeezed until the last drop for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Also see Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., but especially Tupac if you want to think about conspiracies, look at the amount of music released after his death

He also used a lot of sounds people didn't want and found nice places to use them. But for me it's simply the emotion he gave his songs, and that it sounds like there's no way he was only one guitarist. Also IMHO I think Hendrix's voice is really underrated, he supposedly didn't like it, but man I do

Some of the "Gangsta Rap" is real, some is a show. Not sure where rap got its start, but probably from disco since they both use beats from machines

Favorite guitarist would have to be Hendrix, although it seems not many people besides me actually enjoy listening to his music as much as they just appreciate him. My fav. solo of his is All Along the Watchtower, simply beautiful

Not sure about finding lyrics and chords on the same site except sometimes on here, but www.azlyrics.com is a really good site for lyrics, with most of their stuff being pretty accurate

As a college kid, almost all of my friends, boys and girls, love Petty. I know a lot of people who don't like older music but still love Petty
