When ever someone is looking for songs to play I always refer them to the very large selection of music in chordies library. There are also tons of songbooks in all different styles of music. I am sure you will find what your looking for there

It's called a Jazz fest but to my surprise a lot of blues acts. I saw this one band called blues camp. I counted 10 musicions not one looked to me to be older than 16 or 17 years old. Seems that they were actually a bunch of kids who attended a blues summer camp. I am telling you they wailed. After the show I chatted with one of the guitar players. He had a fat hollow body Epiphone, Sunburst with gold hardware. He said he really liked it. The kid said he had been playing for about 5 years. Tell you I was relly inpressed

Although Clapton is my favorite guitarist I have to say Hendrix. Seems that when Jimi first hit the sene in England Eric clapton and Pete Townsand went to see his show. After they saw his act they were bummed out beleiving they would no longer have work. Best solo Red House

The Montreal Jazz Fest has been going on for the past 2 weeks. I was there last night. Last night was the third time I attended. Many free shows and some you have to pay for. I purchaced tickets for Buddy Guy and George Therogood. Worth every penny. Saturday I bought tickets to a luthiers exibition. Luthiers from all around the world showing off thier creations. Some of the most beautiful guitars I have ever seen. I believe last night was the last night. One thing for sure, as long as I am in Montreal I will never miss that festival. Only thing I can say is What a show

Can't find a darn lobster to save my life. First time in my life that I cheereed so much that I ended up with no voice. Being me of course I had to be right there up close. I have to be able to see the fingers. Buddy Guy just blew me away. What a sweet sounding strat. He ended his show by impersonating  what he called his buddies. Albert King, BB king, Eric Clapton and even Jimi Hendrix. I know now why Clapton has been quoted saying Buddy Guy is his favorite peron to jam with. After that show when I believed it just could not get any better on comes George Therogood and the Destroyers. All and all one of the best shows I have ever seen. Over the years I have seen many many shows

any one  see them yesterday on live earth. I was impressed. Chris Rock introduced them as the best show of the whole event

Goodnight to you Patrick jacques.

Yes! I think like every other walk in life, The most expensive  Guitar will not make the best player! It might make them feel good! I have friends who can pick up the cheapest of guitars, and sound like " John Martyn" They are just excellent musicians,
Old Doll.

Your right those expensive guitars wont make you play any better but you must admit that they are such a pleasure. I went to a luthiers show yesterday and saw some of the most beautiful works of art I have ever seen in my whole life. Nothing at all that I could ever afford to buy but what a treat to see and try. Nearly brought tears to my eyes

Yes definitely more cow bell

Years ago when I was doing the band thing we had an understanding. We took turns picking songs. When rehursing if one member had a problem learning a certain part we  would all put our heads together figureing out and teaching each other until it was mastered. It was not always easy but we seemed to manage

I don't know if there is an answer to that question. It's not like tracking the speed of a fast ball. Once you get to a certain speed I believe thats it. I would have to say the fastest guys are useally for the most part Jazz or Bluegrass players. Bottom line is if you want to become fast the only way is to practice, practice, practice

hey badeye I was actually thinking about you this morning you see my cousins son came over last night. A young kid (20 something) who is an acomplished guitar player and enjoys the same kind of music as me. I thought of you because you are the king of the kitchen jam party. Anyway I had the best time. We jammed out on the deck until about midnight and from there we took it into the kitchen until about 2:30. We played nonstop. It was so much fun to just cut loose. A little hung over with sore fingers this morning but very happy to have gottin my ya yas out

Damn Rodger you have a golden voice , I was very impressed with your song. I play it and add some lead here and there. It is very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing

I am realitivly new to my area and don't get the chance to jam with other musicians very often. More often  times than others it is with someone who has not been playing as long as me. I play alone for the most part but the good thing about that is that it has forced me to develop a what I call rythem and lead style of playing. Any other loan guitar players out there

I went with the most simple choice first and middle names

As far a guitar players are there peronality traits based on the brand, model and type of guitar one chooses
