That was awesome- way out of my league!

Really loved that style.
Way to go BGD!

Tigljk, it won`t be way out of your league ............. remember any song we can adapt to make our own, change it around to suit your style.  As an example, if one month a heavy metal song got picked, well i couldn`t sing that to save myself, so i would have to definitely change that around to suit my style.  Or some songs for example definately suit a male voice, in which case i will have to adapt to suiting my female voice smile

That was in a movie I remember seeing a long time ago. Always thought it was a cool song.

Ill give it a go even if my voice sucks, is it in the Chordie library

Yes it was in a movie, great song, listened to it over and over as a young girl.
Great look forward to hearing your version Beamer.  Amy has posted above on where to find chords for it smile

Hi easybeat, hey I checked both your sound cloud and my email.......nothing from you regarding your recording of this song.  Did you send it my email?

This is wonderfully and righteously performed. (For those who don't know, I only use the word "righteous", if a song makes me have chill bumps listening to it)

We both could not believe when I played it for Dondra and she wants to me to pass along that she's a fan of yours as well as she loves all the rest of the "Chordie Family".

As for me, I sure would like to add some soft brushes on my snare drum if I could add my contribution that way. I know for a fact that we have plenty of guitarists here who (along with you) could sure do that song up right with the respect it deserves.

Great, Jan!  Just great! smile

Your friends

Bill and Dondra

Bill and Dondra......wow what wonderful feedback, thanks so much smile.
Bill I would be honoured to have you put your snare drum to it, it would totally add to the song.  I can send you the recording if you like so you can add it, but will have to send it tomorrow when I am on the computor rather than iPad smile

top down .... Thanks so much smile

Yes,  it has now been moved to the new forum which is very exciting, Featured  Song of the Month.

easybeat, yep pretty much what is happening in the world today in most countries, understandable but has a cost to people, families, jobs etc.   Many of those who are skilled in their trade are replaced by more efficient machinery etc................... i hope those valued skilled people never fade away completely.
Good poem, makes one think and reflect ......

Hi Jandal I put a cover up on soundcloud just  my version of a Bob Dylan song .  It is not as good as what you have done.

Peatle ........ well done, you have done a great job of that Dylan song and a very meaningful song it is too.  So awesome you joined in smile
PS: i am now going to correct my terrible spelling of Dylans surname on my earlier post ....... I must have been having a" moment" with my spelling (Dillon duh) lol

Thought provoking, I left a comment on sound cloud.  Well written and well performed by you, you have a great talent.

Just as well for the calloused handed workers I say!  Imagine what a world it would be with only paper shufflers ........they wouldn't have paper to shuffle for one!  Good one easybeat smile
