Honestly the easiest way I have found to do it is copy and paste the song to a word doc. then save it. from that you should be able to drag and drop into your portable device. being as how i just use my laptop or Desktop, I have not transfered many. I have sent to my kendel but its not what I am looking for.

THis is probably the last time I played in front of strangers. 1997 (or98) at the FUMC Taft TX. Country Christmas. Film was grainy but I fixed it the best I could.
Yes that is the look of heavy concentration (Oh god dont let me fall out of place w/ the better players! lololol) The guy on stand up was the music director. He is one of the perpeptually happy people and fun to be around. We would play the informal service on Sunday mornings (bet that surprises a few ppl )

Re: Not another barre question! (10 replies, posted in Acoustic)
that method is also acceptable. instead of barring all the way across. just remember to omit the low E. here are other forms also http://www.jguitar.com/chordsearch?chordsearch=Bm
what it does not show in the first figure is that you dont really have to use your 2nd finger either. technically this is a B5 (its just the power chord version) and you only strum the strings your fingers are on. and your only x 2 4 4 x x. As to how you lay out , i go for the index barre and then lay the rest down. its just pratice. by playing a lot of metal, this just comes a bit natural to me. (pratice on a electric, its easier to get that index barre)

Re: Dean Guitar Neck Swap (6 replies, posted in Guitars and accessories)
At that price point, (100 new) its a bolt on. It should be a pretty hassel free swap. you may need help getting it shimmed right. I would just take it to a shop and have them do it and set it up ifyou are not happy with your own try. but im betting its gonna go pretty easy.

First - Get a new guitar. Second - Get Jim a new guitar. Third - Stop putting those special mushrooms on your pizza. Just get the regular ones from the pizzaria.
I Agree about the mushrooms, but it would seem like much more fun. On the serious note, Maybe just have a talk with Jim first.

Nice job, Roger!
There are more than a few of us now thinking, "Why not try a project like that?"
Congrats on your resurrected guitar!
Well as Jx3 found out, its not so simple as spraying. Roger mentioned that his friend did take it to an auto body shop to be painted, so that is one way to do it, the other (DIY) takes a lot of time, which some pple do have, so go for it. just remember, if using auto finishes, they still need to be base coat and clear coat, wet sand up to 3000 grit then a quality rubbing compound (IE: not turtle wax or nu finish- more like 3M, Meguiars Mirror finish, pro stuff) then for best results a sealant or sealant wax.
Ok I may have gone to the extreem, but I love great paint!

Topic: Sad day for my Kamen (5 replies, posted in Acoustic)
Tonight (being Sat morning at 145AM) I went to change my strings on the Kamen (pictured in one of the pics I put up in reply to Tenement Funster in the electric topics) It had gotten this really bad buzzing sound. After I removed all the strings, i put my hand in the belly and felt not one but two of the inner face supports loose, well one was partially loose and one was totally hanging there! I think having it repaired right now is going to be more than getting a new Xavier like my boys (albeit one step up)
this guitar has been all over the place with me, I am going to get an est. on what it will take, the neck has some issues also, but its been that way for years.
Still its sad I was planning on taking this guitar to Fla. I hope it can be fixed rather cheap. the luthier im taking it to is really good but if its over 100 bucks,, im going to get a new guitar, and ill see if i can do something to make this at least playable and it will be a outside guitar for camp fires and stuff.

Re: G.A.S. Attack for a New Amp (6 replies, posted in Electric)
Glad I could help!!
Did you happen to check out the Tri Rec vid? oooo man would that be a way to piss off the wife and anyone else! that an a 4X12 yum! but man you are gonna love that amp. is there a dealer near you for one? I think customer service wise that is your best bet.
When I was in Cuba I didn't want to mess with sending my whole unit back just due to the channel switch. other than the two things I mentioned the 60 watt is still rocking, though I don't use it much since getting the V5. The V5 has been a solid piece of gear. Ill post a Picture of how I have stuff set up later when I get home.
Remember tubes watts put out more than S/S watts. I keep mine dialed down to .1 amp when ppl are home lolol. That way I can still scorch the gain with out killing everyone.
here is what my stuff looks like. should have used flash for this.
and a whole wall shot

Re: G.A.S. Attack for a New Amp (6 replies, posted in Electric)
As far as the name goes, they are Bheringers butiqe amps. I have the V5 amp. its all tube. on its own the drive is classic warm OD, put a tube screamer or another Dist in the front and you can drive the tubes all to hell an back. good build quality, no complaints.
If your going for that combo monster : I say GO FOR IT! You got 3 channels to set up,Come w/ footswitch, and loads of features.
You wont find a better deal than this amp with 3 channels. Wish I could get one!
Two things to watch for are the footswitch, I had issues with my Bheringer 1X12 60 watt amp, the channel selector didint work and i would have had to send the whole package back to Musicians Friend. i just kept it to turn on and off effects)
and input jack. on my Bugera, I have had now problems as it seems pretty stout, on my Bheringer it was thin plastic and cracked. I was able to glue it back together and get it useable, and I try to just keep a patch cord in it all teh time so im not shaking it about. I just use it as a line in an always have some sort of stopm betweent the guitar and amp.
As I noted, have had no problems with the V5.
have you seen this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzFY5_RWD8w
This bad boy right here is what I want! from crystal clean to my metal hungry heart!

Awesome - I used to play beach volleyball a ton when I was younger - like 8 or 10 hours every Saturday and Sunday (with lots of "beer breaks"). I was in my 30's, but we would beat the local college kids on a regular basis - granted, we weren't much for rules - no blood, no foul. But back then (75 lbs lighter), I could get up and slam the heck out of a volleyball!
Dude, from what I hear and the pics I have seen of ya, you can just stand in the middle and nail the ball since you stand above everyone!
