When I Am Goneby Robert Bonsall 2/9/08

Chorus

[A]When I am[D] go-ne, do-n't shed a [A]te-ar,

Just laughter and[E] joy, to celebrate my[A] years,

When I am[D] go-ne, there'll be no more[A] pa-in,

As I walk the[E] steps to hea-ven, praise my[A] na-me.

Verse 1:

[A]Memories are[D] there, some happy some[A] sad,

Ti-mes of laughter, and [E]j-oy w-e[A] ha-d,

Just take a [D]moment to sa-vour these[A] things,

Then open your[E] eyes ,and see what a new day[A] brings.

Verse 2:

[A]I'll just sit and watch [D]over you, till your time [A]comes,

Just carry on[E] living your life to the[A] full,

Be happy in your[D]self , I'll always be[A] he-re,

In memories and[E] photo's you hold so[A] dear.

Chorus

[A]When I am[D] go-ne, do-n't shed a [A]te-ar,

Just laughter and[E] joy, to celebrate my[A] years,

Living as[E] angels happy and[A] free.

hedge-row rock 22/08/08                       [120th]
                                by robert bonsall
chorus
[c]the music is playin',the hedge is swayin',
[f]time to do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock,
the sun is shinin' the leaves are jivin',
[f]lets do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock.

[c]sitting here [f]watching the hedgerow,
[c]swaying[g] grace-[c]fully,
the twigs are moving,[f]just like they're dancin',
[c]moving[g] with the [c]breeze.

chorus
[c]the music is playin',the hedge is swayin',
[f]time to do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock,
the sun is shinin' the leaves are jivin',
[f]lets do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock.

[c]see the shapes as they[f] move a-round,
[c]re-ally[g] is a [c]si-ght,
seeing nature [f]create such beauty,
[c]standing[g] tall and [c]proud.

chorus
[c]the music is playin',the hedge is swayin',
[f]time to do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock,
the sun is shinin' the leaves are jivin',
[f]lets do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock.

[c]there's shapes of crowns and[f] peacocks splays,
[c]growing on[g] top of the [c]row,
the contrasting colours,[f] like a picture,
[c]makes a[g] lovely[c] show.

chorus
[c]the music is playin',the hedge is swayin',
[f]time to do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock,
the sun is shinin' the leaves are jivin',
[f]lets do the [g]hedge-row [c]rock.
