My pet peeve is singers and actors being called an artist instead of an artiste (and before anyone points it out, I know that Chordie does it ). Singers and actors have nothing at all to do with paints and canvass.

Cuteflute, there is a 100 song limit for each Songbook. If you are having other problems with your Songooks please contact Per as I advised Pondweed above.

Chordie is a search engine which finds songs on the internet and to make searching for a song nice and easy. This particular song is hosted at http://www.guitaretab.com/ so perhaps you should contact them so it can be corrected at source.

Zurf, I was singing one of the very few Shadows vocal numbers but probably know better as a Gary Benson song - "Don't Throw It All Away".
Earlier with Jeff and Pete I did "Value Her" an original by Phill Williams and I: "Meet Me On the Corner" - Lindisfarne and the C.C.R. number, "Have You ever Seen the Rain".

Hi Mark,
You need to be on Skype and then we get together in a conference video call and sing and play to each other. Unfortunately because there is a time lag it has to be on an individual basis and not a 'all join in jam'. However if you mute your microphone you can then play along with someone else.
The only drawback is that 18:00 Eastern is 23:00 with us, but is certainly is great fun and worth stopping up for.

My friend Richard (The 'Doc') has an Ovation 12er which is a very nice guitar (mind you I still prefer my 70's Melody) and as Jx3 says you do need something to stop it slipping whilst sat down which is the only drawback of the rounded, composite back. His keeps in tune well but has has a built-in tuner for when it is needed.

In 1984 I had an Olympic Bronze medal around my neck!!
Alas I did not win it. At that time I was heavily into air rifle target shooting and at a competition I found myself shooting beside Barry Dagger who had just won it in Los Angeles. We got chatting and he mentioned that he had his medal with him and then very kindly allowed me at try it for size.

Per has spent a lot of time sorting the bugs out in the songbooks and believes that they are all now fixed. If you are still having difficulties please send him an e-mail to: admin@chordie.com giving as much detail as possible and include your operating system and browser. He may not be able to reply individually but he will certainly look into any problems.
