I like the strong story telling lyrics of this song James and the originality.
One of your best I've seen.
Well done

It's a sad reflection on the so called festivities of Halloween when the police have to double their presence on the street to fend off anti scoial behaviour by the so called teenage trick or treaters.
It was so much better here in England when it was a low key affair before the infulence from the USA where it was celebrated to a much larger extent.

Ark

Your passion certainly comes through with this lovely song Lena.
Well done

I'm not a happy bunny. Changed my strings on my old jumbo. I thought after years of changing my strings in a DIY sorta way with no problems I'd change them using Justin Sandercoes method the pucker pro way. Took 3times as long and looked real nice then I tighten the high e and twang the little sod snapped nearly took my ear off and caught my finger.
To be fair it was probally a doddy string.....But. Is there some moral to be learn't here. Old dog new tricks maybe.

Hi thefatpaint.........Chordie is a great invigorator for the guitar player. Welcome

Hi
I know the future of Johnny Rotten John Lydon of the Sex Pistols. He grew up and the last time I saw him he was on the Discovery Channel presenting a documentary about insects.
He presented it a little off beat. I guess it’s was a wee bit of the punk rocker coming out. lol

Hi UYK
It seems that according to the BBC weather website that tomorrow 31-10-07 that
London down south cool
Sunrise 6.48am
Sunset 16.40pm

Edinburgh up North big_smile
Sunrise 7.15am
Sunset 16.40pm
So it looks like the Sun rise's later in bonny Scotland than down here so is darker in the morning.
Strangely it sets at the same time. hmm

Hi Lena
I didn't realised you had a big problem.
The first thing I would do is to change your password to your myspace account before you delete it and see what happens.
What Roger explained was also happening to my page. I just deleted the comment and it hasn't been repeated.
Your computer probably isn't infected with a serious virius just mailware, tracking and or possibly some spyware which isn't that bad though it sounds like it is. Most computers are it just goes with territory (the internet) and it's easily removed.

Lena would like to hear you sing this song.
A good piece of song writing from very perceptive lady.  smile

Hi
Nice song. I played it using the chords and words without the melody before seeing your link to the recording.
The melody I used was almost the same. Nice, plain and simple as all good songs are.

I think that's why Hadrains wall was built. I think those Romans knew something.  smile

Old doll…..Lena. You writing about  Harrison’s “Something" and  Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight"  composed for Pattie  Boyd.
Reminded me about the tangle web of relationships revolving around the women in connection with different songs and also the involvement of  her sister  Paula.
This link explains it better than I could.

Hope you find it interesting

Hi BeatleFan
At two months of playing you should not even be thinking of playing barre chords. It's way to early the physical strength needed just won't be there.
Concentrate on the open chords first building up experience and strength as you go.
What seems impossible now will become within your grasp.
It all takes time and practice.

Good Luck

Ark

Hi
Another song question.
There are some songs that even with all the practice in the world just seem to defeat you....
For me it's Masons Williams Classical Gas....high up the fret and it all goes to pieces lol
any other canditdates ?

Ark

Greensleeves (I blame the guitar tutor)  smile
