I've written a total of 4 lines which are keepers, Amy and, as you know, I have been trying to get some historical facts regarding the wreck, but since I have heard absolutely nothing, I am writing it on my own using poetic license.

Now, if I could just get the "Monkey And The Engineer" out of my head. wink smile

All of it together, BGD, but it's the ring finger which actually hurts when I make the stretch.

Thanks!

Okay, just got back. Please read the notes I left, but I'll tell you right now that voice is like a clear mountain morning bell! I love it! Easy, you gonna manage these ladies, find  them gigs and performances, appearances and stuff? Because they definitely deserve it all!

Thanks for the share

Bill

EDITED: Corrected for punctuation

....... and found that, due to my arthritis I'm having trouble with the C chord. I use something called "Blue Emu" to massage into my hands and fingers before I practice, but I am wondering about another product which D'Dario makes. It's those springs you push together with your fingers?

Do any of you use that thing and if you have arthritic hands/fingers as I do, does it help?

A7, D7 and G are no problem. Just that dad-blasted C. smile

Thanks

Bill

ETA: I'm also thinking of buying one of those wax baths to soak my hands/fingers in. Anyone having any luck with those?

10-4 Good Buddie! Wilco and roger. I was getting confused my own self, to tell the truth! smile

Thanks for letting me know, Amy smile

Bill

You're ALL Winners in my book, Mo' I am sorry for forgetting that. smile

Bill

Done.

Thank you,

BGD

Aw, gee whiz, thanks, Jim, but you were never near offending anyone! I was. smile I'm glad that's straight and that we are as well.......

Thanks

Bill

BDG, could I impose on you a little further by asking for the phrase surrounding the ====? I can't find anything.

Also are you telling me to remove all the brackets that are not part of code? I know I have some.

Sorry.

Now I can't make the song links work either.

Yeah I know. It's on Jim's song isn't it, BGD? When I copied to paste it, I noticed his http was green and had a lock on it. Maybe that's the problem?

Thanks

Bill

Oh-Oh. I may have goofed and I'll apologize right here and now and hope I will be forgiven.

Although I love Jim's music and this version of the tune, I somehow got it in my head that this is a competition, which is not the case and asked him to shorten it to just the words written and now I am afraid I may have lost a friend. He put so much into the song and I love him like a musician-brother and would not hurt his feelings for anything and that goes for everyone here as well.

What have I done, and what do I do to correct this, friends?

I feel like the batguano that occupies so much of my brain right now.

Bill sad

PS: A disclaimer that this is no competition has been added to the blog. I will add Jim's song as is and humbly ask your forgiveness, buddy.

I need to say something else, and I will make a point of it in the blog, that this isn't a competition. I see it as a present to my wife in letting her know how much I love her from every possible country I can.

Thanks

Bill

Dear Friends

First a huge thanks to all of you who have recorded and posted your version of "The Sunshine Song", as I call it. It's just one more way all of you have of showing how much you think of me and that is appreciated with heartfelt thanks by both me and my wife, Dondra/

Now, without spamming you, I would like to direct your attention to the blog installment itself (especially you, please, Roger) and  see what I have written and posted. Do I need to change anything? Do I need to add anything? Are the quotes okay?

Please just click on the link at the bottom to go there and thanks once again to ALL of you who have shown an interest in the song, Dondra (and her health) and me. Sometimes I just can't find the words to express stuff, so please take it all from an almost bursting with gratitude heart. smile

Bill and Dondra Craig (who the song is all about).

Phill!

That's why you and I and all my Chordians are friends! If I need help thinking, there y'all are: thanks and I never would have come up with that on my own. Awesome reason! However, none of the Fabs really were Sportsmen were they? They all went to Arts Colleges?

Thanks

Bill

PS: But if I had billions and millions, I wouldn't give a tinker's cuss if anyone cared what football team I support. Also good on Mr. Starkey to auction off all his things to benefit his LOTUS charity for kids. RINGO!!!!!! You know my name?

"maaaaaa", "cuck-ooo" "cick"!

First time I saw this, TF I almost wet my Depends from laughing so hard.

Yes, oh yes. PDQ ("Heilige Dankgesang") will sure be there as will Victor Borge and many others.

I also hope to include some notes about the REAL baroque, classical, romantic and modern composers as we go along. You may be surprised.

I thank you for your support, TF, my friend.

So just to keep you updated: I have not heard back from the historical people about this train wreck, so "damn the torpedoes full speed ahead", as far as I am concerned. I have copies of all e-mails, plus everything I wrote about wanting to do the right thing here on Chordie, so I will go ahead and write the song as I see fit.

Any discussion?

My plan is to do "sketches" of words (not music, as "The Maestro Van Beethoven" used to do) and every now and then submit them here in the "Songwriting Forum" for you to help me, if you will.

Once we get the lyrics fastened down, hopefully some virtuosos like BGD ("Bald Guitar Dude") and others will help with music.

Again: at 65, I don't care about royalties, so let's share songwriting credits, y'all want to?

Again, any discussion????

Thank You!

Bill

Were/Are any of them avid fans of any of their country's teams?

Okay, maybe they weren't so avid, but did/do either of them have a favorite team?

Thanks

Glad you do, Z! I hope you like this one by the Brass even though another bass instrument is used. These guys sell out everywhere they play! I am hoping to have some comical classics for you every Monday morning and I hope that will be okay with Roger and 'em. smile
