weedjie I like and agree with the sentiments of your song. It seems all my life I've listened to songs like yours. But man just seems incapable of learning that violents and war leads nowhere.
It's always 99% of moderate people in this world lead in to chaos by the 1% of extremists.

Well done

Nice recording Roger.
One of all time great British classic films of the 40's.
You got to love the Oxford English and the stiff upper lips.
Well done.

Hi bob
On your home page if you click edit profile link. There should be a tab with Manage songs click on it and then it should let you upload 4 songs in MP3file type from you computer. You can only do this if you have signed up as a artist/band.

Ark

Lena a poignant and moving tribute. I hope the writing this song has lifted your spirits.
Well done.

Hi boxer
Just a thought. Go to the control panel click sounds and audio devices and see if the mute is checked if it is then uncheck it.
if it's ok try clicking the advance tab and make sure the volume controls of the Wave, SW Synth and CD audio are all set to maxium and there mutes are all unchecked.

No Doc I know you personally don’t have to pay if you click on a porn link. The very fact that you have been directed to the linked site generates a hit on that particular site which can mean money for the advertiser. If a person is then enticed to delving deeper into what’s on offer then you will in all probability be made to pay.
These links are placed on forums for one thing only that is to make money.
Sex has generated money since mankind has existed. These people are exploiters simply that.
They have no deeper directives other than to part people with their money.
Everything goes there are no taboos no limit’s. The pursuit of money overrides all moral considerations.
Such is the world we live in and the internet is just extension.

The main reason for porno and alike links in a post is probably only one. Like most things in this world it there to make money. If one person clicks on a porno link then the post is successful the advertiser has a hit on the directed site which means money.
These people are probably in most ordinary people's eyes classed as perverts or similar but mostly they are driven by money.
They won't go away that's for sure they are absolutely everywhere on the internet and they are here to stay.
The best suggestion I've seen to help stop them on chordie was to make new members answer one or more post before letting them post a topic of their own. It's not a complete answer but it will stop the one off post.
I think we all appreciate the Moderators and Administrators for doing their best to remove these post as soon as they see them.

Thanks for that Lena interesting. Like all traditions scratch the surface and a hugely complex set of meanings and beliefs are uncovered.

Roger thanks for the positive comment. I'm certainly thinking of getting back to recording again.
Just considering the best way.

Bonedaddy thanks for the comment.
I appreciate your concern but after over 30 odd years of happy marriage they are thankfully unfounded.

This song was inspired by a post a while back.
About a complex love affair encompassing one women and two of the greatest guitar giants of our time.
I certainly don’t know if the words contain any truth of the matter at all.
Well that’s artistic licence for you.
I see it as being strummed at a moderate pace. Though it can be finger picked and worked up but I think the D to D4 works better simply strummed.

Thank you for looking.

Ark
