Summer run steelhead (skamania) should be running in Lake Michigan too.

Sad I only found out about this guy after he died....
You're going to Galena because it's awesome. Never been I take it?
I'm having a bit of a hard time digging my SG. Neck seems WAAAAAAY to wide, even for my larger-than-average hands. I do like the tone and I'm wondering if a Flying V or Explorer will get me the same awesome Gibson sound without needing to buckle my hand around a redwood. Any input?
I just threw away my adapters.... Even though 9vs are a pain I found they power pedals better somehow....
I have about 17 cowboy hats, 35 ball caps, and dozens of others (fedoras, skullcaps, etc). Bald guitar dudes living in the desert can't leave home without em. Disagree though re the ball cap thing. I love a low hanging ball cap brim while I'm singing.... If drunk it helps orient my face to the microphone.
Edit: I've also been known to sing in a full face chicken mask. Not sure if that equates to a hat...
Who cares what is fair? Start low. It's guitar center...they won't let you rip them off.
You can also think of it as being in b w a flatted 7th scale tone aka b mixolydian
I don't write code but I complain all the time.
When you do that try and use your own guitar and an identical amp to the one you plan on playing through.

Also dog training, reading bunches, cooking, and drunks on bikes (more on that soon).
Thanks man!
Christopaul yes I always tune down unless I'm playing jazz.
Why don't we get drunk and screw? Attraction.
I hate everything about you. Repulsion.
I have changed my pick selection to 1mil+ to force myself to use less right hand pressure. Those mofos go through electric 10s or 11s like butter if you're not careful.
No it's a pop song. Context for those of you who maybe don't get the joke:

I'm on the lake all weekend but I can leave my skype session open if you guys want to try that.
well said!
Thanks y'all.
Well said Jerome. I've noticed my tone and sustain getting WAAAAAAAY better as I lighten up......
More musical options => better player.
Plus if you like percussive left hand muting (as I do) it's much easier with barre chords.
I put together a little history of delta blues for those of you who are interested:
