Hi TazFromOz
You don’t say if the Fender is electric or acoustic but the principles apply really to both.
First strings. Tightness of the strings isn’t the issue the gauge or thickness is. Having a lighter gauge can help but a medium (high e 0.13 acoustic) gauge is good starting point for the beginner.
Make of strings well that’s a real arguable point I use Martins on my acoustics it’s a good all-rounder but that’s just me.
Action can again have a bearing on play ability and getting it checked out is not a bad thing.
Also some guitars by there very nature are harder to play than others not ever owning a Fender I can’t say.
Barre chords.
Just go back over the past acoustic posts and see how many there has been about the dreaded barre chords. All have a wealth of tips and such some you might find useful.
And pain in fingers well I’m afraid that comes with territory.
Good luck

Buffalo's were hunted to near extinction. They may have been running at 100mph but the bullets were travelling alot faster.
What this means to brain cells not sure. Have to drink a bit more to speed up the thinking process.

No official should take offence to this thread it would smack of censorship.
Swearing, Lena.
Why when one does something detrimental to their person a simple “Oh Dear" or something similar never seemed enough.
A good old F….ing off use to make one feel so much better.
But as you say the use of the F..word or such is so common place today that use and feel good factor value of such expletives in the extenuating circumstances has lost most of it’s magic.
Swear words are just not the same as they use to be.

Info straight from myspace
How do I delete my account?
If you wish to permanently terminate your MySpace account, start by clicking "Home" in the top navigation menu from any MySpace web page. From your personal home page, click the "Account Settings" next to your default picture. From your "Change Account Settings" page, click the "Cancel Account" link, found just above the "My Account Settings". On the "Cancel My Account" page, click the "Cancel My Account" button. Check the email account that you used to create your account. Follow the instructions in that email to delete your account. Keep in mind, cancelling your MySpace account will PERMANENTLY REMOVE all of your profile information from MySpace, including your photographs, comments, blogs, and your personal network of friends. This information cannot be restored. You may re-register with your current email address after canceling, but you will need to rebuild your personal network from scratch.
Just copied and pasted from myspace
Or log in and go and click on the "help" tab at the top right of my home page.
Infos there.

jaynie click on the "Resources" tab at the top of the page then click on the link "large chord chart" and look for the C chord shapes and click on the C9 variant. This show all the C9's yours should be there all have a diamond shape "0" to denote an open note.
hope this helps

I think UYK is right about it being an open string as the 0 looks to be shaped like a diamond on my laptop.
Looked at the C9 and seems that whats it showing.

Surely wars are fought for 3 main reasons
1 Politics
2 Religion
3 Territorial gain linked to the control of resources and expansion.
Of course all three can be interlinked and used to control the populace who have to fight and die for the so called cause.
